Not recommended for maintenance or repairs! We signed up for our regular bi-yearly maintenance. Ramon was prompt and informed us about future upcoming maintenance for our unit. However, a day later, our unit began internally leaking (in the house) and emitting crackling noises, despite working fine before the technician's visit. When we contacted their local 561 number, we were informed about notes regarding future maintenance and the leakage issue. During the maintenance visit, the technician failed to disclose the “leakage” to us. We were made aware of the “leakage” during the follow up call. This discrepancy raises concerns about the integrity of their service, hinting at a potential agenda to push for a new HVAC unit immediately. Due to the lack of transparency & professionalism, we DO NOT recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning.

Tonya, there is always 2 sides to a review. On March 15th Ramon did notify you of the leak. His notes from the maintenance, "Husband is on a zoom meeting he told me to explain to wife the situation. She wrote it down and said when he is done with his meeting they will go over it and make decisions on whether to repair or replace and will give a call back after" You called back to our office to let us know the prices were too high and if we could do better on the price. On March 20th you called us back out due to a crackling noise which was still the result of the original problem of a condenser coil leaking and low on refrigerant. Ramon notes from that visit, "Unit is frozen up , I told again about the leak at condenser coil . He mentioned he wants a new unit under payment plans , I told him I can help him with that . We were waiting on his wife to get off the phone but she’s on a zoom meeting , so he said once she is done they will speak and give me a call back to start process for financing. Ramon called me after leaving call to discuss the call. This was never about integrity or professionalism. This was simply about price and budget on your end. I understand you are having a new unit installed for $3,000 to fit your budget needs. I will leave you with this quote....The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the cheap price is forgotten.

I was very impressed with the customer service - the representative that took my call was very courteous and professional. I was calling to set an appointment for the upcoming business week and to my surprise the company was able to come out today, on a Saturday, with such short notice. Allen, the service repair - arrived as schedule. Allen was very detailed and answered all my questions and concerns. To be honest, I thought my unit was beyond repair and that I need a brand new unit. He was able to get it up and running. For now I am keeping my fingers crossed to see how long it will run before I will need a new unit. Hoping it will keep running to give me time to save up for a new one when the time comes. I signed up for the maintenance plan and received a good discount rate along with the service charge. I definitely will be using this company in the future.

Miguel was very knowledge and thorough .however I was taken back when he presented me with a bill for $1248.00 . The capacitor needing replacement is covered under my warranty. and so is the motor as well. So I'm paying for labor to install the motor. He gave me a price of $808.00 to replace the motor which will take about one half an hour. an hour at best. I should have asked what your hourly rate is. He is a very good technician . but I felt taken advantage of on the pricing

Sorry you feel you did not have 5 star service. It is expensive nowadays to run a business especially during inflated economy. Please keep in mind it is the behind the scene work that customers never see or take into account. We have to spend time looking for these parts, ordering parts, picking up parts, return visit to actually do the work, return part back, and lastly process warranty claim. There's also taxes, insurances, licenses, vehicles expenses, and other overhead; in addition to the labor warranty to we offer all of our repairs. There is a ton more involved than just the actual work onsite. I would be more than happy to talk to you and see if we can find a resolution that works for both parties. At the end of the day customer service is top priority but we can not do things for free either.

It never fails, on a weekend your AC unit stops cooling... We discovered our unit was on the fritz on a Saturday afternoon. Called Hopkins Air Conditioning and they sent a tech over first thing Sunday morning. Quick diagnosis and repair, and we were up and running again. Nice to know this company truly is available 24/7.
