We were very disappointed! Hopkins has been servicing our home 2 units well for the last couple of years. We asked them for a quote for our rental unit. They were much higher than another company who we ultimately used. Over the weekend, one of our home units went out. My husband called for support. At first a tech said they could come in two days. Then another man called back and told him that because we didn’t use them for the rental unit install, they would not service us. My husband told him they had just been out for home maintenance in April, but Hopkins said they still wouldn’t come. We were shocked! I am responding to your reply. Your estimate was for a different address from our service contract and we were giving you the option to bid on it. Your estimate was almost double the price of the company we selected. Your prices are high and we have paid them in the past. We will not be in the future as your loyalty cannot be relied upon.

Mrs. Gilbert we were equally very disappointed that a customer we had been servicing for a year would go with an install with another contractor just because of a cheaper price. You see we actually have a live person answer the phones on a holiday weekend. Those services cost money. There is a reason why we charge more because we offer more. In the future I would remember you are not just buying a air conditioner you are buying a relationship for the length of that air conditioner.
