We were very disappointed! Hopkins has been servicing our home 2 units well for the last couple of years. We asked them for a quote for our rental unit. They were much higher than another company who we ultimately used. Over the weekend, one of our home units went out. My husband called for support. At first a tech said they could come in two days. Then another man called back and told him that because we didn’t use them for the rental unit install, they would not service us. My husband told him they had just been out for home maintenance in April, but Hopkins said they still wouldn’t come. We were shocked! I am responding to your reply. Your estimate was for a different address from our service contract and we were giving you the option to bid on it. Your estimate was almost double the price of the company we selected. Your prices are high and we have paid them in the past. We will not be in the future as your loyalty cannot be relied upon.

Mrs. Gilbert we were equally very disappointed that a customer we had been servicing for a year would go with an install with another contractor just because of a cheaper price. You see we actually have a live person answer the phones on a holiday weekend. Those services cost money. There is a reason why we charge more because we offer more. In the future I would remember you are not just buying a air conditioner you are buying a relationship for the length of that air conditioner.

We are much happier with Hopkins, John is the pro managers here that fixed our previous issues and maintains our investment properties and vacation home. Super knowledgeable, Honest, and takes pride in what they do. You can tell when a company is well run, these guys know how to treat their clients and employees. Highly recommend company and John.

Excellent company and service. From the Sales Rep (Phil), to the installers, to the follow-up. Great all around but the follow up is what impressed me most. First day with the new unit and I noticed some adjustments needed to be made for the second floor. The owner himself came out to review and called me to let me know what needed to happen. Essentially, the existing T-stat was located on the first floor and since the second floor has so much sun exposure and gets so much hotter, the t-stat couldn't register the temperature differential. He explained that it was the right thing to do and I would notice a huge difference in the overall comfort of the house. They did the work (the tech even video chatted me to make sure i was okay with the location for the new T-stat) and as soon as I got home (noon), I ran upstairs...HUGE DIFFERENCE! Big change to my home - thank you so much.

I called Hopkins after frustration with 2 other major AC companies that have been negligent and do no follow up inspection on their work that I pay for. They were professional enough to give me an independent review of some issues. They sent Phil and he was not in a rush and spent as much time as I asked for. I am hoping to change services. Hopkins was an excellent choice and I would recommend Phil for any AC related issues!
