Tried to charge me $4,500 to replace all major components under the guise the system was absolutely toast. *Did not offer any other alternative* Had another reputable contractor recommended to me by my home inspector. They fixed the AC unit for $450 and gave advice on how to keep the unit running/maintenance. Only putting this here because I know most people don't realize that they are overpaying for services.

There is always two sides to a review. Here is ours side. The roommate Brooks Knight called us on a recorded line saying he had permission from Austin to authorize repairs and pay for them with Austin card. Farthest from the truth. Brooks stated "the unit drain pan has been full of water for a couple days now". When tech arrived and spent over an hour going through the entire system he found the coil was freezing up do to an impacted coil and was creating all the water. We never said the 7 year old unit was toast. We sent an estimate of repairs at Austin request. We did give him several options all of them was expensive in his mind and was just looking for the cheapest, quick fix since he just bought the house. We only charged our trip charge and did not even charge him a diagnosis fee. We have a fantastic reputation and we stand behind our workmanship on all repairs for 1 year so we are not going to just do a quick fix if does not solve your main problem. Glad you found a contractor to fit your budget needs.
