We have been a customer of Hopkins Air since 2007 at least. We have always paid for service and the company installed 2 a/c units for us over the years. Recently, a new person came for an annual visit. He took an unusual amount of time. All was working. When he left one unit stopped working. We called and were told he would come back the next day. He came, again spent 3 more hours. The unit stopped again. He then said we would have to pay $129.00 for him to come back at night. We said we would wait until morning. He came the 3rd time and again spent 3 more hours only to tell us the unit was finished and we would need to give him the full year's maintenance amount before he would leave. The check was written on Saturday and on Monday they said no portion can be returned even though we have decided to no longer use this company. I am disgusted with them and have lost all faith in them. When I look back on all those years, I now see flaws. Why did the last a/c have black mold growing on the air handler. Why did their technician install the uv light in the wrong place. An update is that the company will refund our maintenance fee. I therefore changed the rating. Thank you.
