***Updated Review: We’ve used this company since they used to be called First Response A/C. They installed our current a/c unit 3 years ago and we’ve used them for maintenance every 6 months. We’ve had some issues with our new unit and although Hopkins was quick to address these issues, it started to feel like we got a bad lemon unit. Recently, AC compressor went out and their pricing to replace (with warranty coverage on the part) was completely outrageous and it became apparent to us that we had become a cash cow for this company ($200 maintenance package yearly + $$ for service calls). We decided to get a second opinion and the other company was shocked that we’ve had a maintenance agreement since it appears Hopkins failed to notice a refrigerant leak (which contributed to the compressor failing). All in all I feel ripped off and mislead by this company. Please find another provider that is honorable, does their due diligence at each service, and charges fair prices. ————— OLD Review —————— They are always quick to respond to calls. They perform quality work and the techs are always courteous and professional. I’m glad we found them!

Family Roots, There is alot of misleading and inaccurate information in this review. First, Hopkins Air NEVER sold you your unit, First Response did. That company is no longer in business. We have no affiliation with First Response at all. I recall you spoke with our service manager after we properly diagnosis you had a bad compressor. You was not happy with price so you called another company (Swabys Ac) and they confirmed the same issue as a condemned compressor. You said that you was going to go with them due to the pricing be better for your budget needs and we understood. As a matter of fact we also offered if you needed anything moving forward let us know. Your compressor was grounded which means it was an electrical not mechanical failure. Sounds just like another company just trying to throw another company under the bus to make themselves look better. Which is poor and unprofessional. You was never ripped off or mislead as both companies confirmed that compressor was the bad. The only part we disagree about is how it failed.

I had a real problem balancing the AC temperature upstairs with the downstairs. I thought nothing could be done about it. I talked to Hopkins Air and they sent out a tech who practically re- engineered the ductwork to balance the temps between both floors even though I had only one thermostat downstairs in the townhome. They also added a remote thermostat upstairs that communicated with the thermostat downstairs. Sounds complicated but they made it look easy. Wonderfully reliable folks who were on time and did exactly as promised. I use them on home and rental unit and always a great experience. Thanks Hopkins Air!!👍👍

Just would like to say thank you to everyone at Hopkins Air, my AC Fan would not stop blowing no matter what I did, even turning off the breakers to it. I called this morning and Sabrina listened to the concern in my voice and had a tech Eduan there by 1 pm to check things out. Eduan is great has been to my place before and always does a fantastic job, he was able to diagnose quickly what was the issue. Turned out my Blower motor module was blown and had to be replaced, I have been with Hopkins for 10 years they installed this unit for me then and have maintained it since. They were able to find a tech nearby who had a replacement part close by in their truck. So instead of having to wait days for parts and to reschedule for instillation. Eduan went and got it and was back installing within a half hour. He was quick professional and the Unit is working great again. No more issues. Thanks Again to Hopkins Air for doing all the right things, such a great company to deal with.

STAY AWAY! They quoted me 3-4000 just to replace the coils on the outside condenser and 7000 to replace the outside condesor all together. I only have a 700 sf APARTMENT. Absolutely tried to rip me off. Im very glad I got a second opinion from someone who is actually HONEST!
