Hopkins air conditions was the only company that answered my call late at night for an AC issue I had. They came out the next morning and immediately diagnosed and fixed the issue. We had a system replacement with Hopkins Air and they are great. John Johnston was so pleasant and intelligent about his work that we chose his company to do our replacement job. They are also reasonably priced and their technicians were friendly, tidy, and capable.

John from Hopkins is a true asset to the company. We called Hopkins to repair our AC unit. John came out right away, diagnosed the problem (faulty motor) and rectified the situation. We will use Hopkins again for future repairs. Adding 11/19/25 - we recently had some service work done by Hopkins and our technicians were Andres and Yadian. The techs were on time, professional, worked a neat job site and got the job done efficiently and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

We have been using Hopkins for many years and always have had great service. Recently they did a great job installing a Lennox XC20 3 ton unit. The job was completed in one day. The crew was extremely professional. They protected our floors and carpets and were very neat. I strongly recommend Hopkins. Update I just had the semi annual service. Went great. Great job. 7-25-24 Diagnosed Unit 4A problem which is a defective Blower Motor. Replacement is scheduled for tomorrow PM. 7-26-24 Blower Motor replaced. Unit works perfectly. Well done 10-22-24 Clogged Drain on no. 1 unit. John diagnosed it quickly. Works great. 12-10-24 Found mold on our MBR vents. Contacted Hopkins. They did a complete inspection of the ductwork and recommend replacing it. The job which was completed in just two days. The crew was efficient and caring. Another well done job by Hopkins A/C. 1-2-25. Replaced Thermostat. Well done 3-11-25 Finally replaced my AC (5 units). Went with Carrier as suggested by Hopkins. They did a fantastic job as always. I Highly recommended Hopkins AC. 7-31-25 Replaced defective iflo unit. 11-11-25 Replaced (5) iflo cartridges and flushed Drain Lines. Perfect!

John was great, efficient and knowledgable. He made annual service a breeze! Updated review: 9/29/25 Hopkins was out at my family’s home today to completely replace the existing AC system. As everyone in Florida knows AC is not only essential but it takes a beating in this climate. They managed the job from start to finish effortlessly. It was impressive. The compressor had to be installed on rooftop requiring a crane lift. The scheduling and details of the job were well coordinated. The duo technicians that completed the work were remarkably good at their jobs. Their management and office staff match the performance. We highly recommend this company for all your AC needs. Excellent work!!! The techs were knowledgeable and personable. The day was extremely hot but they worked constantly to get the job done. They were a great team!! We purchased a brand new AC system, a Lenox, that was on excellent advice from John. Hopkins’s had redone all of our duct work the year before and that work was excellent which is why we contacted them again. The new unit is sooooooo quiet! We like our home quite cold and John was right when we called him that evening concerned and he told us to give it a little more time, after all it was 98 degrees in the house. He was right! We woke up and it was freezing cold to our liking! Thank you Hopkins for another great experience!

We chose to work with Hopkins based on their stellar reviews - and their service did not disappoint! We first met with John Johnson the (sales manager) for the initial estimate. John took his time to thoroughly explain what he thought was the best solution to resolve our problems with the older unit and lack of insulation we had in our home. John was available via text throughout the initial estimate process quickly answering any additional questions or concerns we had before we signed the contract. On the day of install we had two great guys - Yoan and Alberto. Both very polite, professional, and diligent workers. They worked meticulously, efficiently, and made sure to clean up their mess before leaving. They also went over how to operate the system and made sure to show us their work was completed after each major instillation step (outside unit, air handler, blown insulation). We even had the field supervisor Pedro stop by midday to check on the instillation process. We would highly recommend Hopkins! They were great to work with - and we were super excited to have a very nicely cooled home just a within a few hours of the instillation!

6.5.25 Update I typically request the same technician for my AC services so that they have personal knowledge of all prior issues. Gazi was today's service tech since previous tech is no longer available. Gazi is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was already aware of previous work done to my ac unit and provided feasible proactive solutions to improve air quality. I highly recommend Gazi and will be requesting him to be permanently assigned to my account. The entire Hopkins team has provided outstanding service and I am pleased to be their customer. 12.24.24 During last regular maintenance service it was determined that the outside unit coil was leaking. Service call to replace exterior coil was done on Dec 20. During that time the techs found a part had to be replaced on interior unit and that the indoor unit also had a leak. Being late in the date replacement for interior coil could not be replaced until after the weekend. Fast forward, 3 techs came first thing on Christmas Eve and unit completely fixed within a couple of hours. Thanks to Hopkins for doing all they could, including sending tech to pick up interior coil unit from Ft Myers, to get my AC up and running before Xmas day. Since initial service by Hopkins ACc a few years ago, I have not used any other company. I have a service contract and could not be any happier with the level of service and professionalism. John is the tech assigned to my account and I can't recommend him enough!! Service calls are always on time, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I am so happy to have found Hopkins AC and that John was the tech assigned! I don't hesitate to recommend.

Today I had a 5ton Carrier AC unit installed by Hopkins AC company. The two guys who installed the unit were just fantastic. They were stellar in their work ethics. They took their time, cleaned the area…They were meticulous in how they installed my unit. I would recommend Hopkins AC company to anyone , if these are the kind of workers they will send out to do the job. Even the salesperson John came out to make sure everything was going smoothly, which was excellent customer service. This is a company with integrity. Kudos to the company/owner. John arrived exactly on time today and we found him to be a consummate professional. He could teach the class on excellence in service! Installers Kevin and Karel completed work for our new a/c unit yesterday. My wife and I were extremely impressed with these 2 gentlemen. They arrived on time, worked like trojans and had an attention to detail rarely found with service providers today. They were both courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the unit. When replacing the drywall around the air handler, they even painted it prior to putting it up. We would place them both in the category of master craftsmen when it comes to a/c installation. I would encourage all new clients of Hopkins Air that are purchasing new units to request these two to do the job, you can't go wrong. As they neared completion, they loaded all boxes and the old unit onto their truck. Then went around with a vacuum to clean up any dust and debri and left behind a spotless area where they had worked. The new unit worked like a charm and reminded us that air conditioning in south florida is not a luxury, it's a necessity. Perhaps 10 stars is more appropriate for Kevin and Karel. Cudos to Hopkins Air for employing such quality installers !

Please ask for John at Hopkins. Everyone at the company is really nice. They will give you a window of 2 hours instead of "maybe" today so you don't have to wait forever. Their annual maintenance package is a great deal. John is fair, prompt and excellent at what he does. I tell all my friends about Hopkins, by far the best service in a long time. I have been with them for 3 years now.

Office and tech staffs are very pleasant, courteous and professional. They always arrive on time and work quickly and efficiently. We have been using them for the past 25 years thru different ownerships. The service has always been great and you always get call-backs even on the weekends or during holidays when it is important. I posted this a couple of years ago and reiterate everything said above. The personel and the service continue to be the best. They responded to our call yesterday, Saturday, when we had no heat. Irene walked us thru what to do with the breakers going and checked in with us numerous times to see if it was working. When it wasn’t, she sent John 3 who has been servicing us for a few years, and the problem with the thermostat was resolved reasonably quickly. Irene was absolutely fabulous and deserves. Combat pay or a big bonus for having to deal with irate customers during the coldest day of the season and on a Saturday. She was calm, patient and extremely professional and kept calling back to check to see our status. John is our usual tech and is always cheerful, efficient, quick and professional. He is great. He and Irene are great representatives of Hopkins Air Conditioning!!

Gazi did a great job today.Hopkins Air is always 5 star in service. We have been using their services since 2013. Our tech, John, just came out to do our maintenance and advised us that our coil needs replaced. He was very thorough and showed us where the parts were starting to fail. He always does a fantastic job every time he comes out. We appreciate having a company that maintains high standards and alerts us when we are about to have an issue so that we can correct the problem before there is damage to our unit. I am always pleased with the professionalism of the staff and of my A/C technician John Anytime I have ever had a issue with my A/C which isn’t very often they have always quickly fixed the problem in a timely manner.They also do a thorough maintenance every six months, which I have a maintenance contract for. I can’t imagine using any other company for my A/C needs. I would not trust anyone other than Hopkins Air Conditioning with my a/c unit. They are honest, professional and dependable.

July 19, 2023 As usual Hopkins provided our six month servicing and the technician, Scott, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough throughout our scheduled maintenance. He was also very helpful in explaining the nuances of our two HVAC systems and mini split and ways to effect a better air purification system, Because of Scott’s specific expertise and common sense explanations, we upgraded our system with a “Germicidal UV Light System on both of our Carrier HVAC units. We had a problem with our AC unit and called Hopkins Air Conditioning for diagnostics. We were very pleased with the expertise and services provided by John J. He was polite, professional and efficient. John showed knowledge and work ethics. He was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning and will be using them again in the future.

Finally a company that truly STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK!!! I have had multiple AC Companies come out and put bandaids on my A/C issues. These other companies did not address the issues I was facing. I have a two story house that wasn’t cooling evenly between floors and sweating vents. Hopkins A/C was highly recommend from one of my co workers. I contacted them and they were quick to respond. JOHN came out, assessed the situation, and came up with his solution as to what would fix the problem. His solution was to Install a new more energy efficient system, add another return vent, and seal off my attic. The best part was I had a brand new AC Installed the very next morning. Immediately after the installation I noticed the improvement of the power usage but I still faced the unbalanced cooling issue between the 1st and second floor and sweating ducts. I sent John a text message with my concerns and he scheduled a visit the very next day. John came out and developed another plan to help with the uneven cooling between floors. Bottom line up front… I truly believe in this company, they stand behind their work and John has been awesome.

Truly amazing service! Came out on a Saturday morning on time. Assessed the issue immediately. John was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain the details. 3 previous visits in 5 months from a home warranty contractor. Never got it right...well only for a month or so then no A/C again. Got a recommendation about Hopkins. John showed up the next day after I called. He did trouble shooting- found some significant issues - not catastrophic but would cause constant issues. I needed a dehumidifier, my house was just dripping. John came out the same day - and rather than sell me a very expensive product I didn't need, he found what the builder's low-bid provider did wrong and fixed it. I signed up for a maintenance contract before he left. I've never been this pleased with the quality or professionalism of a contractor since moving to Florida.

We have used them for scheduled maintenance on our hvac system,and most recently to install a brand new system in our townhome. When I say READ THE REVIEWS, I mean it. I taught my mother to do so and when her AC was blowing 88 degrees and we were melting in her house, right to Google we went. She searched through various options for the area and saw the reviews for Hopkins Air and loved everything she saw. The reviews did NOT lie. This company is wonderful from top to bottom; and I don't just hand out compliments and beautifully written reviews for just anyone (haha) John showed up the next day to my mother's house and began checking everything. My mother cannot move on her own right now as she fractured her leg. John had the unfortunate displeasure of having to let us know that the person who was formerly working on her AC unit was putting in the WRONG refrigerant. Not only was John able to find us an affordable new unit, but a great payment plan, and immediate installation the next morning. When I tell you, the 2 guys that came to install the unit, worked their butts off to get the house to cool off. By 5pm the house was down to 73 and we could breathe. This company is knowledgeable, genuine, and works WITH their customers to make sure WE walk away feeling secure and staying cool in this heat. Trust the reviews. They don't lie!!

I called Hopkins AC Service because my AC wasn't cooling, even though it was supposedly fixed by another service company who failed me miserably. John, a technician from Hopkins came the same day I called, and diagnosed the problem, at all time explaining everything to me and my husband. We could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and we were confident that he would get the job done right. The following day Doug and Xavier came and got the job done, they even set us up with portable ACs while they worked so that we could be comfortable and cool. Now my AC is working perfectly well. I can't say enough good things about Hopkins A/C. I called first thing this morning when I woke up to it being 82 degrees in my condo and they got someone out to me the same day. The tech that arrived was John and he was wonderful! His communication before arriving was excellent.
