Gazi and Marcos were on time, thorough and polite as always. Gazi have been our service for a while and we are very comfortable with him. Trusted. We have mold he has been keeping us aware of. At his advice, we accepted an estimator to come out.

Went with them for an AC replacement and cant recommend them enough for the whole process from the sales call to the install to the service and maintenance. From the getgo they worked to get our business. When our AC died unexpectedly they still offered a deal and showed up the next morning to put in the new one. Install folks were a breeze to work with and a couple months after the install we had an issue...they showed up 45 min later to take a look at it. It was cold during the install so they topped off the coolant. We had our first maintenance today and they notify you of who is coming and when they are going to be there. The tech went above and beyond checking everything and making sure we were happy. For AC the peace of mind is worth it. We talked to alot of people too but these folks consistently went above and beyond. That has continued after the sale.

Sophia was great. Since then, every time the other tech comes out, he pushes hard to upsell. Sometimes he’s successful, but most times it’s blatantly obvious. I don’t like that behavior.

Had an issue with a leak in our AC unit for a home we recently purchased. I contacted them last night through google and got a call first thing at 7:30 this morning to let me know someone would be by between 10-12. Allan showed up promptly around 10:30 and signed us up for the yearly maintenance fixing our issue. He was quick, professional and very efficient. Highly recommend! ___ Update Feb 2026, we got a new AC system installed for an amazing price. Everyone we worked with was super helpful and made the process very simple. The service was to follow-up on our HVAC system not producing heat. The technician replaced the circuit board as requested but also found an issue with the sensor which was faulty and replaced it. The system is now working properly. He was very efficient and got the job done in sufficient time.

Gazi was AMAZING. Fully inspected our full system, including the outdoor unit on the roof of my townhouse. He fully serviced the entire unit, alerted me to possible problems with the system and implemented solutions that make me feel confident that the life of our system has been extended as much as possible. He also informed me of the replacement cost down the road so that I may budget accordingly for the future and manage my long term expectations. Best yet, he alerted me to the fact that my UV light was not functioning and, since it was still under warranty and although it was installed by another company, offered to provide a new unit and just charge for installation. This is how a company SHOULD treat new customers. Work with you and not look at us like a piggy bank. I could not be happier with the level of service or courtesy. I highly recommend them. 👍

I had Hopkins come for a maintenance appointment Last week and then a follow up today to install an ultraviolet light on the A/C unit and a air scrubber .when the second technician came to do the work he noticed that the filter was put in wrong and showed me the correct way .i told him , it was the tech from the other day that put it in wrong he also said i should be flushing the pipe with something totally different than the 1st tech said .Honestly this makes me concerned as what else did the tech not do correctly. Would like to see about someone coming out and making sure no other mistakes were made .would love to hear from a supervisor. Also the 1st tech said I needed 2 additional products . Did I really need or was it a sales pitch. I know the company gets great reviews and that is why I went with them but not reassuring as I spent a lot of money .i must say the techs were friendly and prompt and professional .

Just would like to say thank you to everyone at Hopkins Air, my AC Fan would not stop blowing no matter what I did, even turning off the breakers to it. I called this morning and Sabrina listened to the concern in my voice and had a tech Eduan there by 1 pm to check things out. Eduan is great has been to my place before and always does a fantastic job, he was able to diagnose quickly what was the issue. Turned out my Blower motor module was blown and had to be replaced, I have been with Hopkins for 10 years they installed this unit for me then and have maintained it since. They were able to find a tech nearby who had a replacement part close by in their truck. So instead of having to wait days for parts and to reschedule for instillation. Eduan went and got it and was back installing within a half hour. He was quick professional and the Unit is working great again. No more issues. Thanks Again to Hopkins Air for doing all the right things, such a great company to deal with.

Technician Eduan showed on time during the time frame specified. He both texted and called to make me aware that he was enroute. He was very professional and friendly. He explained all that he was doing, the required repairs, the recommended repairs and service as well as the pricing. Overall very happy with the service, so much so I signed up for the maintenance plan.

John from Hopkins is a true asset to the company. We called Hopkins to repair our AC unit. John came out right away, diagnosed the problem (faulty motor) and rectified the situation. We will use Hopkins again for future repairs. Adding 11/19/25 - we recently had some service work done by Hopkins and our technicians were Andres and Yadian. Great job from David. Very informative. We replace a capacitor that was starting to lose amperage. Next we will replace my small voltage box outside mounted on the wall. Cleaned the drain pipe and checked the entire unit! Ready to go for another 6 months.

Cannot say enough about Hopkins Air Conditioning. This experience started months ago when we called because our AC was not cooling. Talked with David and Chuck who were Oncall. They explained there had been some storms in the area so it may be related to that. They had us reset our unit and call back in 30 minutes, Everything was cooling again. The impressive part … no charge saved them time and us money. Then we had our bi annual maintenance done and Gazi came out. Another professional clean experience. He noticed our unit’s air flow was low. After some investigation found the coil had issue. Ut oh here it comes. He asked if we had a warranty and/or labor warranty. I said I doubt it we don’t normally buy that stuff. Gazi not only was able to get the coils covered by the manufacturer warranty he investigated and found out in our passed records we actually did have a labor warranty. 2nd time Hopkins could have “made money” and did the right thing. Finally Armando arrived to replace the coils right on time, was efficient and clean. AC is cooling and running great. Hopkins Air Conditioning does not only do great honest work when needed they don’t take advantage of situations to make money. In either of the first two examples we could have been charged a service fee and to replace the coil and pay for the labor. All of this came at only the yearly maintenance charge. We have been using Hopkins for many years and always have had great service. Recently they did a great job installing a Lennox XC20 3 ton unit. The job was completed in one day. The crew was extremely professional. They protected our floors and carpets and were very neat. I strongly recommend Hopkins. Update I just had the semi annual service. Went great. Very professional and neat. Update 11-23-23 Just had emergency service today, yes on Thanksgiving. Problem fixed by Justin.Hopkins is great. Now my guests have A/C Update 4-25-24 Serviced all units. Great job as always. 5-8-24 Great as always. Serviced (3) units with KickStart. 6-11-24 Fixed faulty float switches. 6-27 Unit #3 low on Freon. Got it going for now. Found leaks and ordered new parts. Great job John. 7-8-24 Two coils replaced on Unit #3. Completed on time and cleaned up after. Works great. Great job. 7-25-24 Diagnosed Unit 4A problem which is a defective Blower Motor. Replacement is scheduled for tomorrow PM. 7-26-24 Blower Motor replaced. Unit works perfectly. Well done 10-22-24 Clogged Drain on no. 1 unit. John diagnosed it quickly. Works great. 12-10-24 Found mold on our MBR vents. Contacted Hopkins. They did a complete inspection of the ductwork and recommend replacing it. The job which was completed in just two days. The crew was efficient and caring. Another well done job by Hopkins A/C. 1-2-25. Replaced Thermostat. Well done 3-11-25 Finally replaced my AC (5 units). Went with Carrier as suggested by Hopkins. They did a fantastic job as always. I Highly recommended Hopkins AC. 7-31-25 Replaced defective iflo unit. 11-11-25 Replaced (5) iflo cartridges and flushed Drain Lines. Perfect!

Eduan, our technician today, arrived promptly (having called that he was on his way), and immediately went to work on our system after we explained the problem we had. We had complete tile renovation done. We had been told the air conditioning system would be turned off completely, but it was not, it was registering 76 degrees, the system was"on/fan" and the door was open, and no furniture was covered. It was a complete dustbowl. Eduan was able to clean it up with a tuneup, although it was a complete mess. He assured us the system would be running well afterward. He was efficient, professional, and courteous and a definite asset to Hopkins Air Conditioning.

Chad did a great job and was very thorough during the maintenance on our 2 units and also installing a condensate pump to resolve an issue we have with drainage. He also installed UV lights on our 2 units to help with mold issues.

Update: HIGHLY Recommend. Had to get a new AC unit. Everyone was friendly and responsive and on time from Kathy and Joyce in the office to the installers Alonso and Johan (I think) were experienced and friendly and left my place spotless. As everyone in Florida knows AC is not only essential but it takes a beating in this climate. They managed the job from start to finish effortlessly. It was impressive. The compressor had to be installed on rooftop requiring a crane lift. The scheduling and details of the job were well coordinated. The duo technicians that completed the work were remarkably good at their jobs. Their management and office staff match the performance. We highly recommend this company for all your AC needs. They came early to the appointment and did a great job. Pleasant serviceman and knowledgeable. Covered all the problems and were very polite.

Technician was prompt. Right after Technician departed my system started making a loud noise which it was not making before his maintenance. I called Hopkins immediately and they sent the technician back to my house to determine what was causing the problem. He identified the issue as something with the drainage pump which he resolved. The pump now intermittently is making the same loud noise. I'll live with it until I replace the 17 year old system. I chose not to go with Hopkin's Rheem system and will go with a company who will install a Daikin system at @2K USD less.

I have been using Hopkins for air conditioning maintenance and repair for the past year and a half. I have never been disappointed in the service. The maintenance technician, Edoun, certainly appeared technically very skilled, and he was patient, courteous and cognizant of the cost in making recommendations to prolong the life of the 7 year old air conditioner, which I took. The price for the maintenance and addition of a booster was reasonable. I would highly recommend Hopkins.

Contacted them when our AC was leaking tons of water. They gave an assessment as to a slew of issues that we had- that our current AC service never mentioned. The assessment for a new AC was thorough, gave tips to help cool the house with a new duct, and spent time to explain everything. All this was the same day I called to. They were able to get set up a new install that weekend. Even got a follow up text the next week to see how the unit was operating. Update: we have had our service plan with them for sometime, they’ve been great. Any issue and they are able to come same day or the next. They’re always transparent about issues and super professional

For. The second time Hopkins tried to over charge me by almost double! They installed my new system while it was palm beach air. When Hopkins took over I continued with a maintenance plan I will never use these crooks again. On top of it all they wanted me to pay half of the repair up front even though I was an existing customer. In addition they never called in the early spring for my second appointment for which I paid. Do yourself a favour and shop around

UPDATE: I'd like to retract this review from a 5 star to a 3 star. Although we've had good experience with Hopkins previously and I think the person the sent was nice, courteous and great with my dogs. I'm not the one that knows much about AC units; thus, I did not know what I was looking for in terms of the actual service at hand. I was merely giving a good review based on how friendly the person they sent was. He just opened the filter and told me it wasn't even put on properly! He asked if the person was even competent as they couldn't put back a simple filter properly. --- We've had Hopkins AC do our maintenance for the past year and everyone they've sent has been great. Especially Sofia, she was courteous, wore booties and kept her work area clean. The best part, she was great with our two dogs! We have two 10 lbs territorial little terrier that doesn't like anyone coming in our house. I highly recommend Sofia and the team at Hopkins AC.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. The service was neat and thorough. David was here at the beginning of the time window I was given and he called when he was on his way. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Since in addition to the maintenance, I needed the water line cleared, I was able to schedule an appointment earlier than usual at no extra cost. I also needed a new thermostat since the screen on the old one was no longer legible. David installed a new one and went through the steps for programming it with me. I highly recommend Hopkins Air and David, specifically.

I had the pleasure of having Sophia come out for a routine service on my AC unit, and she was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, Sophia was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain the entire process to me in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. It's clear that she knows her work inside and out, and she made sure everything was running smoothly before she left. What stood out most was her patience, attention to detail, and genuine care for making sure I was comfortable with the service. Zachary was tech who was here the other day for our bi-annual service maintenance. He, like all of the other techs who have done work for us, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable , and efficient. Sophia came out late Friday evening on a rush call for ac compressor not running. She diagnosed the issue quickly, had the replacement part in place in less than 30 minutes. Also replaced our uv bulbs since she was out here already.

6.5.25 Update I typically request the same technician for my AC services so that they have personal knowledge of all prior issues. Gazi was today's service tech since previous tech is no longer available. Gazi is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was already aware of previous work done to my ac unit and provided feasible proactive solutions to improve air quality. I highly recommend Gazi and will be requesting him to be permanently assigned to my account. The entire Hopkins team has provided outstanding service and I am pleased to be their customer. 12.24.24 During last regular maintenance service it was determined that the outside unit coil was leaking. Service call to replace exterior coil was done on Dec 20. During that time the techs found a part had to be replaced on interior unit and that the indoor unit also had a leak. Being late in the date replacement for interior coil could not be replaced until after the weekend. Fast forward, 3 techs came first thing on Christmas Eve and unit completely fixed within a couple of hours. Thanks to Hopkins for doing all they could, including sending tech to pick up interior coil unit from Ft Myers, to get my AC up and running before Xmas day. Since initial service by Hopkins ACc a few years ago, I have not used any other company. I have a service contract and could not be any happier with the level of service and professionalism. John is the tech assigned to my account and I can't recommend him enough!! Service calls are always on time, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I am so happy to have found Hopkins AC and that John was the tech assigned! I don't hesitate to recommend.

I initially left a 5-star review for Hopkins AC after a great first experience with Ramon, who was professional and excellent. However, every service since has been disappointing. During an insulation installation, they sent two inexperienced technicians who admitted it was their first time and even asked me if they were doing it right. Worse, I caught them on video snooping through a box on my patio, which was completely unacceptable. Additionally, I have a paid service contract with Hopkins, but they refused to maintain my new AC unit (installed by another company due to Hopkins’ high quote) and wouldn’t issue a refund. The service rep, Cathy, was rude and kept interrupting me on the phone. I’m extremely disappointed with their unprofessionalism and lack of customer care. I’ll be posting the video evidence of the technicians’ behavior. Avoid this company.

My wife and I have been struggling with her back to back cancer diagnosis for the past 4 years. First breast cancer then myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). It has been an emotional and financial struggle. Chad Hopkins helped us out by getting our A/C serviced for free after letting him know our situation. It was very kind and generous of Chad. We've been with Hopkins for years. I can't say enough about this company and the there staff.

Miguel, was very professional, thorough, courteous and honest with his inspection of our AC unit. Although the overall analysis of the unit wasn't very good, because of age. The photographs he took of the unit seemed very accurate. He did offer alternatives for me to look into in the near future. Which was greatly appreciated. Donat serviced my units today. I have older units that could be damaged with aggressive cleaning, so he worked with great care to perform the appropriate maintenance to assure the units stayed working well in their current state. As he saw things, he had realtime access to prior inspection photos for good comparative assessment for deterioration. We ran into an unexpected issue, and his communication, troubleshooting and resolution was done professionally and perfectly. Definitely a well satisfied customer again.

First time home buyer, I was ready to struggle and suffer with AC maintenance after it shut down. I'm now at peace! There were here under an hour (alright, I was lucky on that part :), Scott and Gerry explained to me the values of Hopkins and how they like working there. I can even ask for the same team everytime. Office and tech staffs are very pleasant, courteous and professional. They always arrive on time and work quickly and efficiently. We have been using them for the past 25 years thru different ownerships. The service has always been great and you always get call-backs even on the weekends or during holidays when it is important. I posted this a couple of years ago and reiterate everything said above. The personel and the service continue to be the best. They responded to our call yesterday, Saturday, when we had no heat. Irene walked us thru what to do with the breakers going and checked in with us numerous times to see if it was working. When it wasn’t, she sent John 3 who has been servicing us for a few years, and the problem with the thermostat was resolved reasonably quickly. Irene was absolutely fabulous and deserves. Combat pay or a big bonus for having to deal with irate customers during the coldest day of the season and on a Saturday. She was calm, patient and extremely professional and kept calling back to check to see our status. John is our usual tech and is always cheerful, efficient, quick and professional. He is great. He and Irene are great representatives of Hopkins Air Conditioning!!

Our tech, John, just came out to do our maintenance and advised us that our coil needs replaced. He was very thorough and showed us where the parts were starting to fail. He always does a fantastic job every time he comes out. We appreciate having a company that maintains high standards and alerts us when we are about to have an issue so that we can correct the problem before there is damage to our unit. This company is the way to go. Originally they did maintenance on an old system and added two bedroom returns. I was so impressed that when it came time to replace the old system I depended on Hopkins Air Conditioning. There was no pressure selling. I was delighted with the fast install and the respectful, fastidious workers. When it came time for the permit inspection Shy arrived early to check out everything to make things go faster. He was very knowledgeable and helpful to in answering questions. He is a great representative for the company. I hesitate to brag too much because if too many people use Hopkins Air Conditioning their schedule will be fuller and perhaps more difficult for me to schedule them when needed.

We’ve been with Hopkins Air Conditioning since back in 2002 when we built our home in Palm Beach County. They’ve been nothing less than extraordinary since that time. Last night, 10/21/2019 is just another example of why they’re simply the best. We had an issue with some water on the floor of our garage after returning home Monday evening from a short weekend road trip. It appeared to be coming from our air conditioner air handler unit. I called Hopkins A/C “after hours” Service line and Xavier (service tech) returned my call within 5 minutes... AMAZING! He advised he could definitely take care of the issue and relieved our concerns as we were preparing to head out of town again tonight (10/22). Xavier offered a suggestion that would “almost assuredly” solve the issue. I followed Xavier’s phone instructions and within about 20 minutes the problem was fixed. Customer Service is a very important part of the A/C biz and Hopkins Air Conditioning has the best. I have lived in South Florida all my life (72 years) and I’ve dealt with more than a few A/C company's so I know a little bit about customer service. Xavier is certainly a credit to the company. We were able to cancel the service call that Xavier had set up for us as now there was no need to delay our departure to the Smoky Mountains. Thank you Hopkins A/C and THANK YOU Service Tech Xavier (especially for the instructions and technical explanation as to what had occurred). When a company representative offers to save a customer both money and time, that’s a Special Company. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hopkins Air Conditioning. Update... Today, 6/11/21, we had a newer “upgraded” “ALL ALUMINUM ALLOY” condenser coil installed in our a/c handler. The house cools much quicker than the a/c did with “older style” coil... But the main reason for this update is to THANK the install technician, Andray, for doing an amazing job. He is such a credit to Hopkins A/C. Efficient, very knowledgeable, and one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen. Did a few little extra things during the installation to allow our central air to run more efficiently, and allow me, as the homeowner, to keep the a/c running like new in between our bi-annual Hopkins A/C maintenance service. I would highly recommend HOPKINS A/C in West Palm Beach to anyone needing A/C service or NEW Central A/C. Best! …more It appears that the drain line from A/H condenser pan to outside drain has issues, in that there was a back-up in the line. Today, 12/26/2023, Technician Jasper from Hopkins A/C responded and after trying to clear the line, he was able to find the issue with the drain line and make it work like new. He said that the line appeared to have a lot of old build-up (the home is 20 years old). Jasper was not going to give up. He cleared all of the old debris and the draining condensation water is now as clear as a mountain stream. Great job Jasper & Hopkins A/C. Excellent Technician & problem solver. Update 11/29/2024 Darren came to our home yesterday for our scheduled bi-annual a/c service. Darren did the best maintenance/checks we’ve seen since our home was built with an entire ac system installed by Hopkins A/C (actually “DAVIS A/C” back then. same company/different name). Darren showed us everything he was checking as do all of the technicians at Hopkins A/C, but Darren did quite a bit more. He checked our vents for actual air flow and found that our Master bath vent had NO AIR FLOW. We told him that vent actually hadn’t been blowing much, if any air out since we first moved in to our newly built home back in May of 2002. We had brought that to the attention of the actual Contractor who built our home and he told us at that time, he would add it to the “Punch List” and would forward that to “Davis” and they would check the a/c system and, “everything would be fixed or adjusted properly and to our satisfaction”. *Still have the notes I took. Didn’t know who “Davis” was. NEVER FIXED. We’ve just put a fan at the doorway when necessary. Darren knew what the problem was & forwarded info to install dept.

Gazi was insightful on how to maintain the AC and quickly diagnosed the problem. He cleaned the AC fixed the motor and also provided a reasonable price. I will definitely be using this company again and asking for Gazi!

"Follow up visit" Just had a service call for an issue with the existing unit (Not supplied or installed by Hopkins) they responded and arrived withing a couple of hours from my call Saturday Morning, Had us up and running again early afternoon. Have used them for years and normally very happy. They service my condo twice a year. Was disappointed that we had a condensate line leak. They should have serviced our unit earlier but scheduled us 8 months apart. I felt that the cost of the repair was very high. The service is always prompt and they do a good job

Since they installed my new A/C, they have been great no matter what I needed. From the install to the routine maintenance, or just talking to any of the office personnel, Hopkins Air Conditioning has always done a fantastic job for me.

I am very disappointed with two experiences I had with Hopkins AC. I needed a new AC at a property and had received several estimates from Hopkins and 2 other vendors. The Hopkins estimate was $8000.00 dollars for the unit and one of the other estimates was $5000.00 so I selected this vendor. At that time I had Hopkins for my annual maintenance plan and when I called them to do a service 6 months after the new unit was installed they would not service my AC unit because I did not purchase it from them. I was shocked at this decision and called the owner who was not very nice in terms of customer service. He had every excuse in the world as to why his quote was 3000.00 more than the vendor I selected. I immediatley told him I wanted to cancel my service with them and be refunded the yearly maintenance contract charge, which he did. I then had another property under contract with Hopkins and they came out and serviced the unit but when I asked why they left all the construction dust that had built up in the unit due to building concrete restoration I was told by the technician that he would come back and clean the unit. He even took pictures of the dust in the unit. I waited for his follow up and it never happened. Six months later the unit was due for another maintenance visit and this technician was very courteous and he maintenanced and cleaned the unit of all the dust. Prior to that appt I called Hopkins to get an estimate of what a maintenance appt consisted of and what the cost of "cleaning of the dust" would be and they could not even give me an estimate of the cost of cleaning. Needless to say, due to questionable business practices, I will cancel my maintenance contract with Hopkins and do not feel I can refer them to any other homeowner who is looking for a reputable company to do work for them.

Was working for Over 15 years with a local company recently acquired by Hopkins. The transition was seamless and have had only good experiences. Have used thier after hours helpline a few times and they are always responsive and get us on schedule timely. Between my family and I we have multiple houses on account. She was cheerful, friendly and very happy to help throughout our entire call. She was knowledgeable about the company and was sure to get me in somewhere on the schedule. I have been a customer with Hopkins Air Conditioning for 33 years. I am always pleased with the professionalism of the staff and of my A/C technician John Anytime I have ever had a issue with my A/C which isn’t very often they have always quickly fixed the problem in a timely manner.They also do a thorough maintenance every six months, which I have a maintenance contract for. I can’t imagine using any other company for my A/C needs. I would not trust anyone other than Hopkins Air Conditioning with my a/c unit. They are honest, professional and dependable.

Miguel always does an excellent job servicing my air conditioner. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always eager to share quick tips to keep my family’s system functioning properly.

This was my first time having an AC issue in my house and I needed to get it fixed quickly. I called Hopkins Air Conditioning in the morning and they sent Scott Goodbread to take a look the same day. Scott is great! He quickly assessed the issue and clearly explained what needed to be done. He took care of everything quickly and was very friendly. He had expert knowledge, which made me feel great about the service I received. I got the yearly maintenance plan so that the unit doesn't have any more issues. Thanks, Scott! Edit: It's a year later, and I have had some additional issues with my AC unit. Thankfully, Hopkins has remained responsive and helpful. There was some miscommunication about the work to be done, but Hopkins cleared it up and gave me a discount which really displayed their integrity and honesty in their business dealings, and I commend them for that! Great company to work with!

Jasper came out and did a routine maintenance check on the unit we purchased through Hopkins. He was extremely polite, helpful, good with our dog, respectful of us working while he was working, and fixed a sealing issue we had in our crawl space. I had a wonderful experience with the technician Jasper. He showed up within the appointed time, was very professional and thorough with the service. He explained what he was doing as he worked so I would have an indepth understanding of what is needed on my part for my system to run properly. Besides that I observed other mannerisms that I was truly impressed by. He carried with him a rug and foot booties so that he wouldn't damage or track dirt throughout my home. He showed respect as if my home was his personal property. Jasper did a service to his craft. It is difficult to find companies that employee individuals with superb customer service skills.

Ramon was the tech that came out for my service and showed up earlier than was expected. My issue ended up being a pretty simple one and he showed me how I could fix it. He also explained to me a better way of maintaining and keeping the line clean. This is the second time that Hopkins air has been to my house and not tried to upsell me on some thing that I really didn’t need. I will definitely be using them in the future.

The service that Hopkins A/C extended was way above other companies I have dealt with where I live. 12 stars out of 10 to all those that worked with me. I was aware that my brother had replaced his A/C sometime last year, but wasn’t familiar with the company that did it. My brother passed away recently; therefore, I was at his place trying to figure out things like getting into his phone messages, etc., so was unable to hear any phone messages. However, the CID showed several calls from Hopkins; then I was able to get into my brother’s email and found Hopkins had, fortunately, also sent an email saying it was time for a filter change and system tune-up. I then called Hopkins and advised them of my brother’s passing. Since I was returning to my home (in another city), I asked them if I could schedule when I returned on the next trip. When I got back to my brother’s, I called Hopkins and spoke to Shynieder (?) who said they were booked through the month, but that he would see what he could do as we were only available for the following 2 weeks. Much to my surprise, I received a callback in a very short time and said they would squeeze in an appointment within our time frame, which they did. Then Thomas called me to verify everything. Gabriel was our A/C tech. He was very professional and completed the service in a timely manner. Before he left, I asked if he could reach something for me as climbing a ladder at my age isn’t a good idea. He was very happy to accommodate me. I apologize for not doing this review sooner, but have been traveling back and forth. I will recommend this company without hesitation to whoever purchases my brother’s home.

Miguel was professional... Knowledgeable... Patient and honest....He took his time to do maintenance on our unit..... And verified it was in good working order.... Checked the vents.... And cleaned the external unit.... Overall we were extremely happy with the service call... He did a Great job!!!! Our AC unit finally started dying on us.... They were out the next day to replace.... I’ve been using this company since before they switched owners and the prices used to be great. Now I was quoted $460 to vacuum a drain line. This is my second astronomical quote from them and I won’t be calling them again

Signed up with them for a yearly service. Part of the deal is they give you a free service at the beginning. About a month after my AC wasn’t working properly. They came for free since I have a service contract and billed me 330 dollars to unclog my system. I told them you were here a month ago and the system is 1 years old. Terrible experience.

The Hopkins service tech was polite, honest and knowledgeable, but Hopkins is very overpriced and I do not like their policy of paying in full in advance. I am a Senior Citizen and we just paid $463 for a AC drip line flush and basic system inspection from Hopkins, that is after bargaining them down from $520 ! The service tech said he was just following company policy. The service tech was at our house for about 30-45 minutes and used no parts that I know of to complete the job, other than cleaning fluid. A different AC company with a similarly polite and knowledgeable tech charged us $129 for a similar flush and AC system inspection on another property we own. We felt taken advantage of by Hopkins we are not happy, and we will not be using Hopkins again.

Had an urgent issue with my A/C dying on a hot summer day. Contacted Hopkins and they resolved the issue that afternoon! A special shout out to the tech - Gazi who truly went above and beyond giving my system a few extra checks that were outside of the scope. Based on the great service I signed up for the annual maintenance program.

Hopkins A/C technician was professional, had a great appearance, and had the latest diagnostic tools to show me how my unit was performing. I was looking for an A/C maintenance contractor, and I found one!!

Predatory or just Negligent? These people are apparently only interested in selling you new A/C systems and duct and insulation, which they also sell. My 4Ton Trane system was working great (as usual) but then suddenly, out of the blue just shut off. I called Hopkins because I am on their maintenance plan, to have a look and see what was going on. Before adequately trouble shooting my Trane, they advised me to take it out, and replace my whole 4 Ton Trane system telling me it was unfixable and you can't get parts...Prior to recommending this, I am afraid they neglected to adequately trouble shoot my system in the first place, as was their job, under my maintenance plan... in their role as my service technicians. ... not even in THE MOST BASIC INDUSTRY-STANDARD trouble-shooting was done... ( it turns out the filter line was clogged and dirty, which triggers a tow switch, and which shuts the unit off so it won't leak water onto the floor... "the first thing you look for when the unit shuts off"., according to their own technician)... as I had called them to check my equipment and why it would shut off, I of course also assumed that their assessment of my Trane system as "dead" was based upon their having tried everything they could as a maintenance technician, to get the system up and running and assess the problem as to why it might have shut off,... and certainly before delivering a recommendation of "all you can do is replace it", when it might have only been a matter of toggling a switch, as part of a maintenance call, and myself spending nothing. ...They replaced my Trane with a brand new $9,000 unit that is not performing adequately for my house. In the mean time, Hopkins' maintenance and service arm was negligent, or maybe worse, to have recommend that my unit be replaced before they even tried to trouble shoot my unit in their role as my Maintenance and Service provider... which is who I called. Hopkins is claiming now that perhaps the new unit is not performing like the Trane unit (supposedly they are rated to perform just the same), due to my having "faulty duct work and insulation" in a crawl space in my ceiling that I have never seen. This faulty logic obviously does not explain anything about how the 2 A/C units might compare with one-another, but Hopkins expects me to be dumb enough to buy it, ... and conveniently, voila ! they happen to sell insulation! ... and voila! they install duct work too ! Meanwhile I am $9,000 poorer, with an inadequate A/C system that unfortunately, I believe, I had NO REAL NEED to buy. Disgraceful

Cleaned out drain system, cleaned coil. Checked entire AC system. Miguel 3, my AC Tech arrived on time and provided a complete and thorough semi-annual maintenance on my AC unit. I was at work but my neighbor let him in and then left. He's been my tech for so long that i thoroughly trust him. He even changed my air filter for me!. I am very happy that I have a service contract with Hopkins and will continue with them.

He was also very helpful in explaining the nuances of our two HVAC systems and mini split and ways to effect a better air purification system, Because of Scott’s specific expertise and common sense explanations, we upgraded our system with a “Germicidal UV Light System on both of our Carrier HVAC units. Scott was super detailed and extensive in ensuring he serviced all of our systems with the greatest of care and diligence. We’ve been with Hopkins since 2018. Having set up a mini split system throughout an old house. Hopkins installed and had overseen the splits and outdoor units for years. Their service is always excellent.

David was super knowledgeable and helpful. Gave a 30 minutes heads up upon arrival, explained what was going to check and then showed what needed to be fixed. Also, recommended small fixes that could help. Highly recommend

We were very disappointed! Hopkins has been servicing our home 2 units well for the last couple of years. We asked them for a quote for our rental unit. They were much higher than another company who we ultimately used. Over the weekend, one of our home units went out. My husband called for support. At first a tech said they could come in two days. Then another man called back and told him that because we didn’t use them for the rental unit install, they would not service us. My husband told him they had just been out for home maintenance in April, but Hopkins said they still wouldn’t come. We were shocked! I am responding to your reply. Your estimate was for a different address from our service contract and we were giving you the option to bid on it. Your estimate was almost double the price of the company we selected. Your prices are high and we have paid them in the past. We will not be in the future as your loyalty cannot be relied upon.

There was an issue with my scheduled service this weekend and the owner addressed the issue but refunding me the entire amount paid. I offered to pay for the service call out fee but he insisted due to the inconvenience he refunded the entire. Thanks for being an up standing person and doing the right thing. I will continue to do business with this company as one experience cannot cancel out the rest of the great service received. Thank you.

After calling 2xto not forget the UV bulb you did forget it. then i was told Hopkins would comeback to install and only charge me for the bulb not the labor because you forgot. but you charged me anyway and I had to followup because you did not

Hopkins AC does an excellent job on all aspects: from ease of scheduling, to always being on time scheduled, to ongoing communication…but best of all the techs are all professional, courteous, neat, and do a great job. We started with Hopkins a few years ago when our entire AC had to be replaced…and were so impressed we signed an annual contract for maintenance service. They continue to do a great job…and we are happy to keep renewing each year. We would highly recommend them!

Our AC system has been replaced and maintenance by Hopkins Air Conditioning. We have had a pleasant experience with the company and team in general. Gazi is a knowledgeable, profesional and friendly technician. Also, the ladies at the office, they are always nice and accommodating.

Gazi was great to give my annual servicing. There's a lot of upselling involved, which I declined, even though I may need that add'l equipment.

Jasper was great and was able to even guide me on how to make my AC last longer. He did a phenomenal job on both units and I cannot wait for him to come back.

Here’s another great experience I have had with Hopkins Air. Gazi, the service advisor, gave me exceptional service on my AC maintenance. Gazi performed all the inspections of my AC inside and out. He took photos of what work he did and provided detailed information about each task and recommendations. This company has excellent reviews because they actually do the work other companies don’t. They don’t just come and do a visual inspection and test the compressor. Hopkins does a detailed inspection on all aspects of your AC unit and show you photos of all the inspections, complete cleaning of drains, coils and compressor, test for ductwork leaks and many more things that most companies charge you for but don’t do quality work. I have used many companies over the years and Hopkins has been the best.

Today, 5/2/2024, Jamie and Jamal cleaned my duct system, as well as dryer vent. They were on time and proceeded to set up their equipment. Grills were cleaned and sanitized as well, and they left the area clean upon completion. Jamie and Jamal were assigned this job today when original technician needed to complete another. Considering the variables, I rated them a 5, and would recommend them to other customers.

I would highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning. They were on time. The tech was very friendly and answered all my questions. They will continue to service my 2 a/c units for the future. I did signup for their main plan for the year.

I have used First Air Air for many years, and now that it has become Hopkins air conditioning. I am happy to see that the quality remains top-notch, and the service personnel remain professional, friendly, and courteous. I had the pleasure of having Gazi service my system today and I would highly recommend him. He explained everything in simple terms and recommended additional services without the hard sell that other companies rely on. I will continue to use Hopkins air-conditioning in the future and will recommend them to all my friends.

The techs and are courteous and do good work but I cannot excuse my recent experience. I do not recall the people who quoted me, installed the equipment, and the maintenance tech before this one mention anything to me. Only when my maintenance was expiring do I have any quotes for duct work. That is not information you use to leverage $600 worth of work and try to sell a $2000 system with a maintenance renewal. This is extremely frustrating as I take having a sanitary home very serious. The work I'm being quoted for is something that should have been noticed and mentioned prior.

Tino did excellent work. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I’ll get the service contract now that I see the quality and value of their work.

Not recommended for maintenance or repairs! We signed up for our regular bi-yearly maintenance. Ramon was prompt and informed us about future upcoming maintenance for our unit. However, a day later, our unit began internally leaking (in the house) and emitting crackling noises, despite working fine before the technician's visit. When we contacted their local 561 number, we were informed about notes regarding future maintenance and the leakage issue. During the maintenance visit, the technician failed to disclose the “leakage” to us. We were made aware of the “leakage” during the follow up call. This discrepancy raises concerns about the integrity of their service, hinting at a potential agenda to push for a new HVAC unit immediately. Due to the lack of transparency & professionalism, we DO NOT recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning.

Miguel from Hopkins Air is always very helpful explaining and showing what’s going on with my systems, and very professional. Calling into the office is easy as well, as I can always get ahold of someone. I’m very happy with our service.

We have had a service contract with Hopkins for a couple of years now and they always do a great job. We just had an excellent experience with Eric ("Eric 2", according to the text I received from their scheduling system). He was knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions.

We had our AC go out because our our drip pan was full. Xavier came out to us about an hour after our call to Hopkins AC. the drain was cleaned and the technician told us how to care for the drip pan issue. Very professional and will use them again. 9/18/2023 Today was just a regular service call. I found Tino to be a technician that Hopkins should feel very satisfied with because i was. I even allowed him to sell me another mold prevention box that is to be much better than the mold light that was sold to me by a previous company. Although i was really sold by Hopkins because the first technician told me i would not have to deal with anyone else but him, and I now am on my 3rd technician in 2 years, I believe the technicians sent to me have been head and shoulders above the air conditioning companies that do the most advertising on TV, I really did not like those guys and I have now found a company that I can rely on. Thank you Hopkins A/C. P.S. The Hopkins technician assured me that the most expensive box that was installed to eliminate mold will do the job - eliminate mold, even in the ductwork. He put Hopkins on the line if it didn't work. 3/7/2024 Today just a regular service call but the same great service. I found Miguel to be a technician that Hopkins should be proud to have on staff. I am grateful to now have a company that I can rely on. Thank you Hopkins A/C.

When I utilize Hawkins air-conditioning for my service need I never had an issue prior to them. The other service company I utilized I would always have to call them out to clear my lines which indicates to me they never did a good job in the beginning Hopkins does it right the first time.

2/29/24 Hopkins Air Conditioning has done a great job over the last 2 years. Today Luis arrived on time for our bi-annual checked up. Luis was super professional and thorough. 5 stars for Luis as well as Hopkins.

I have used Hopkins AC now several times and so glad I took their maintenance contract. It’s well worth it. I have been able to keep the same person, Brian for the work and he is knowledgeable very professional on time to the minute and works very quickly. I highly recommend Hopkins AC for any AC work

I use HA for my AC maintenance. They are always on time and go about their work in a professional manner. Sometimes I feel they are trying to upsell some accessories. But I have no issues saying no. All in all they do a decent job for a decent price

Tito, the technician who came to do my six-month maintenance check did a fantastic job. He was very informative about what he was recommending and why He was recommending that.. He also showed me the proof of what he was describing was the issue. He was very thorough, did not come across and did not come across as a pushy sales person that I have had in the past with other companies, and I decided to invest money to have him install a UV light on my air conditioning system. I definitely recommend asking for Tito as your technician for your six month maintenance check up.

10/10 recommend this awesome company & their team of professionals. We had Hopkins clean our older fiberglass ductwork for the first time since purchasing our home. This was a specialized job that required specialized equipment. They gave us excellent professional advice on their recommendations for our specific situation. Their technician team was punctual, respectful, helpful, and completed the work to the highest standards. They went the extra mile to ensure a clean & effective work area & we could not be more pleased with the results. After our experience, I would wholeheartedly trust this company’s knowledge, expertise, advice, & workmanship. We will be using them for all of our A/C needs going forward.

Terrible experience. We called them over a weekend and they fixed the problem in August. The technician sold us the maintenance plan for the year to help get a discount on the service required that day. We were never contacted to set up maintenance on our 4 ACs, which we paid for up front, close to a $1000, for maintenance/service 2x a year on all our units. As a contrast, we have a maintenance/service plan for other appliances and the companies call us promptly to set up maintenance and service. Months go by and no service has been set up. Over Thanksgiving, our drains/pipes end up getting clogged and result in a backflow and leak which ruins the floor upstairs and leaked through to the ceiling of the garage. When I called them to come service the unit, the representative that showed up that day said this should have been taken care of in August when we signed up for the maintenance plan. I called them, spoke with a manager and then his manager/part owner of the company. Lie after lie was told. Tried to tell me it was a different AC unit. Luckily for me I took a video while the technician was at the home with the technician present because the manager tried to lie about it over the phone. I was told they do not do maintenance in the summer because they only do it 6 months after signing the contract, which would have been February for us. Well, 6 months after February is August which is summer, which would have been our 2nd maintenance. They denied a slip up or fall through on their end. We ended up with $1000s of damage due to this leak which likely could have been prevented if they had actually shown up and performed the service, flushed the drains, and checked the leak devices. They refunded the maintenance agreement money as they should have because not only did they not keep their end of the agreement but they took our money, did not provide the service, which resulted in thousands of dollars of damage for us. Terrible experience. In response to your response- didn’t know there was a time limit to write a review. You took pictures of the AC with the switch up on the AC unit that was NOT leaking. The one that leaked, the switch was in the appropriate position. I have videos as evidence as well. Exactly why I said the lies- the pictures you took are of the AC unit next to the one that was leaking. You failed to meet your end of the contract.

Hopkins provides detail oriented service. I had them install and in-system carbon air filter and UV light. The technician explained the quality parts being used and how they initially cost more than other brands, but is cheaper and more convenient in the long run because they don't require maintenance. I believe you get what you pay for, so I am all about paying for quality service and materials.

GABRIEL WAS GREAT. Thorough, efficient, knowledgeable,competent and considerate. Excellent flushing of pipes (glued 2 loose ones ),checked the mold , sprayed and cleaned, would recommend Gabe highly !

Chad was our tech. He was very knowledgeable and explained his findings carefully as well as showing us. He was very friendly and did a good job cleaning up when he finished.

Hopkins A/C does not honor the quotes it gives. It changed a written quote given on 11/30/23 by phoning one day later and asking for a $700 increase to the agreement. They did not even do the semi-annual work for which they were already paid. The a/c filter was not changed as it was supposed to be. Beware if you consider doing business with Hopkins A/C.

Update: Gabriel rocks, super nice guy and was very thorough with the AC maintenance on both my units. The staff that came to do AC maintenance were phenomenal, extremely thorough and their yearly maintenance contract is and excellent value. I highly recommend them!

Great experience with Hopkins. From changing my thermostat to one I can actually understand, to maintaining and cleaning the drain to detecting future problems I may experience and ways to alleviate them. They also keep in contact with you, when you have an appointment so you know they're going to show up.

Just used Hopkins Air Conditioning for the first time and they were great. Dave, the tech who serviced our unit, had come highly recommended. 2nd Review: Our old and out-of-warranty AC unit finally had an issue after we've pushed it beyond its ideal thermostat setting. Luckily, I was able to save some money on repair cost with the annual maintenance agreement. Our preferred technican, Ramon, performed quick troubleshooting and gave us a few honest options to save more money. Despite the rain, he was able to successfully perform the repair in a timely manner. We continue to appreciate the all-star team including customer service and dispatch at Hopkins AC. I have used Hopkins many, many times I take care of many homes and I use them at all of my homes. David Gunning has been very very helpful and he always explains what is going on before he starts. EDIT: Rich, the GM, gave me a call and we took care of the issue. Was refunded the amount for the service that was not completed and apologized for what happened. Refund was prompt and they are working on resolving any issues, which is a good look. Overall, Hopkins has taken care of this and we can move on. I would still suggest the company as a whole adjusts their pricing or revamps some services to have JUST a "drain flush" to avoid the issues of the high price. This would allow a 5* Initial: I called to get someone out to my house for a drain purge on my system. Tech arrived and informed that the bill will be $420 unless I buy their annual package, which would drop it 20% ($90, service pack $250). Wanted it done as I was at work and could not handle it myself. Tech called back 45 minutes later saying they couldn't fix it and need to charge me an additional $150. I told him no and I would take care of it myself. Left work, stopped at home depot for a $25 dollar snake, proceeded to clean and had it cleared in LITERALLY 20 minutes. On top of this highly over charged fee, my AC now makes a gurgling sound after this tech supposedly cleaned the system and did their checklist. Called to get some resolution to this and for the last 2 weeks have been told someone will call me.........nobody has yet to call me even after I have called three times now.

Hopkins Air is the first AC company I have found that does exceptional maintenance on AC units. Matt, the technician, does exceptional work. Most companies charge you for periodic maintenance but fail to do a thorough job and leave you feeling like you paid money for not much of any service. Matt, the technician at Hopkins Air, spends extra time to attend to all the details and delivers exceptional service, above and beyond any other AC service I have used in the last 50 years of being a homeowner. He backs up everything he does with photos and explanations of what he does and anything that might need additional service. Matt is the BEST of the BEST. He spends a lot of time doing what should be done and doesn't cut corners. You get value in what you pay for at Hopkins Air. I recommend to stop paying other companies for mediocre work and use Hopkins Air to get value for what you pay for.

Finally a company that truly STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK!!! I have had multiple AC Companies come out and put bandaids on my A/C issues. These other companies did not address the issues I was facing. I have a two story house that wasn’t cooling evenly between floors and sweating vents. Hopkins A/C was highly recommend from one of my co workers. I contacted them and they were quick to respond. JOHN came out, assessed the situation, and came up with his solution as to what would fix the problem. His solution was to Install a new more energy efficient system, add another return vent, and seal off my attic. The best part was I had a brand new AC Installed the very next morning. Immediately after the installation I noticed the improvement of the power usage but I still faced the unbalanced cooling issue between the 1st and second floor and sweating ducts. I sent John a text message with my concerns and he scheduled a visit the very next day. John came out and developed another plan to help with the uneven cooling between floors. Bottom line up front… I truly believe in this company, they stand behind their work and John has been awesome.

***Updated Review: We’ve used this company since they used to be called First Response A/C. They installed our current a/c unit 3 years ago and we’ve used them for maintenance every 6 months. We’ve had some issues with our new unit and although Hopkins was quick to address these issues, it started to feel like we got a bad lemon unit. Recently, AC compressor went out and their pricing to replace (with warranty coverage on the part) was completely outrageous and it became apparent to us that we had become a cash cow for this company ($200 maintenance package yearly + $$ for service calls). We decided to get a second opinion and the other company was shocked that we’ve had a maintenance agreement since it appears Hopkins failed to notice a refrigerant leak (which contributed to the compressor failing). All in all I feel ripped off and mislead by this company. Please find another provider that is honorable, does their due diligence at each service, and charges fair prices. ————— OLD Review —————— They are always quick to respond to calls. I have a service contract with Hopkins. I have dealt with other HVAC companies in the past. Hopkins is by far the best. Miquel is the technician I do business with. He is available for questions, honest, pleasant and reliable.

The technician called in advance to coming. He was actually able to come a little sooner, which I greatly appreciated! I’ve been using Hopkins for quite some time now and it’s always the same thing. They show up they do a great job and they’re friendly. AND their prices are very reasonable. Tino was honest, hard working and professional!

I was very impressed with the customer service - the representative that took my call was very courteous and professional. I was calling to set an appointment for the upcoming business week and to my surprise the company was able to come out today, on a Saturday, with such short notice. Allen, the service repair - arrived as schedule. Allen was very detailed and answered all my questions and concerns. To be honest, I thought my unit was beyond repair and that I need a brand new unit. He was able to get it up and running. For now I am keeping my fingers crossed to see how long it will run before I will need a new unit. Hoping it will keep running to give me time to save up for a new one when the time comes. I signed up for the maintenance plan and received a good discount rate along with the service charge. I definitely will be using this company in the future.

Miguel just left our home after servicing and repairing our A/C system an d I'd like to say that he is very professional and understands A/C systems. He repaired our unit and left me feeling like he knows what he is doing, which is difficult to find these days in many home repair industries.

I had a scheduled maintenance check with Hopkins Air Conditioning today. Such a great experience, from Britney and Joyce at call support to the gentleman Tino, who performed the maintenance. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He identified a potential mold issue and took the necessary steps to help control it. Excellent!!!

Tried to charge me $4,500 to replace all major components under the guise the system was absolutely toast. *Did not offer any other alternative* Had another reputable contractor recommended to me by my home inspector. They fixed the AC unit for $450 and gave advice on how to keep the unit running/maintenance. Only putting this here because I know most people don't realize that they are overpaying for services.

Truly amazing service! Came out on a Saturday morning on time. Assessed the issue immediately. John was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain the details. He couldn’t access all areas of the system and is returning Monday to follow up and not charging for an additional service call. Their maintenance plan is worth it!

Allan 2 came today to do the 2 times per year service and he checked everything correctly and improved something about the drain that was clogged. He is very professional and respectful. I never heard of Hopkins Air. but Cathy Mcdade and Jake have taken excellent care of me since they were with Palm Beach AC. Cathy in the Boca office is extremely professional, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. She explained all aspects of my contract in detail with me. Cathy went above and beyond to provide great customer service. Jake is the best AC tech I have ever had. He can pinpoint the cause of problems at a glance and will fix them immediately. He explains causes and solutions in easy to understand terms. Hopkins is very lucky to have Cathy and Jake representing their company. It is because of Cathy and Jake that I have decided to keep Hopkins as my AC company. Brittany is AMAZING and Ramon is TERRIFIC The reason that I will renew my maintenance contract with Hopkins is mainly because of Brittany She is always patient and understanding and willing to find solutions.. She really cares about my AC needs and my finances. She never tries to upsell me and is willing to go above and beyond to help me.

They installed the new Lennox ac/ heat system when I bought my house. I’ve used them for maintenance service going forward. Scott is the latest tech to do this job. He’s the best! I’ve asked for him exclusively from now on.

There is no feeling of (cool) relief like having one’s A/C blowing out hot air on a SE Florida 88-degree day and having a technician show up within hours and fixing it right! Hopkins was recommended by the management of a residential development that I once knew and it is for good reason. Scott, the technician, was not only knowledgeable, efficient, and professional, he was genuinely personable. Sabrina, the intake coordinator on the phone found a way through use of an annual contract that saved me quite a bit of money on keeping my 16-year old HVAC units as well. Very happy with my entire transaction with the people of this company.

The technician called ahead when he was on his way to my appointment. He was on time for the my scheduled time slot. When he came into my house he wore bootees over his boots and was courteous. The maintenance work was completed in as required. He recommended some additional maintenance that I should consider. Be because my units are at the end of life cycle I might as well wait. Dave communicates so you understand and provided a quality visit fixing my AC. AC just happen to stop 2 days before scheduled maintenance visit. Dave troubleshot the system and had it back running within a hour and half. Great job.

I consider myself fortunate to have found Hopkins Air Conditioning in West Palm Beach. This company is family owned and they are serious about ensuring the customer is genuinely satisfied. Customer service has eroded over the years, but not with Hopkins Air Conditioning. They live by it, they believe in it, and that is a very important thing. I had a gentleman name, Tino come and maintenance, my air conditioner, and he did such a good job, I was watching over everything he was doing, and he was so kind and considerate, and literally explained everything he was doing. I couldn’t talk to him as much, because I work from home and I was on my desktop working. I had an ultraviolet light installed to ensure that any mold inside the air-conditioning system in my condo stayed free of allergens and bacteria and other micro organisms that could float through the air. The service was first rate the price was reasonable. If you need HVAC service, and you live in West Palm Beach or around the area, call Hopkins.

I was referred to Hopkins after losing air conditioning last summer and hearing from my old company that it would be several days before they could come and fix it. I called Hopkins and they came over right away, fixed the issue, and signed me up for a service contract. Hopkins is very professional, on time, extremely organized, and not expensive. They setup an appointment time, send a reminder/confirmation the week prior, and call when they are close by so you know they are arriving. The technician that has come to my home knew my system like the back of his hand and spent time educating us on what’s going on with it and what he’s doing to make it better. This sets Hopkins apart. I have more confidence in a technician that explains what/why they are doing the job instead of just coming and going. Hopkins was also very reasonable and their price is less than I would expect for the service I’m provided. Doesn’t get any better then that.

Let me start by saying I NEVER leave reviews… but after my routine maintenance visit with the technician Luis, I felt I had to. This guy is thorough. He checked everything! I was expecting a 20 minute visit, but this guy really went above and beyond and examined and inspected every single aspect of my ac unit and was here for over 2 hours. He flushed, cleaned, sanitized, ect. He took the time to explain everything to me and why certain things were happening and ways to prevent them. I can’t stress enough how great of a tech Luis was; whatever he’s getting paid isn’t enough. I will 100% be using this company again and be asking specifically for Luis.

So Allan came and serviced our air today. Dude actually put on booties (haven't ever had a service provider do that)! He was fast and I'm pretty sure he did things that other folks that serviced the AC in the past did not do. Very cool. Definitely recommend, 10/10.

The only issue I had was both the office and the technician called me in Montreal as opposed to my Housewatcher in Florida as instructed. Fortunately, I was home to receive the calls. Service call apparently went well. I’ve lowered my review. Two weeks after their service call, I had a leak. Was told when the technician scoped the system that records previously showed a problem. Why wasn’t it attended to? I have changed companies and purchased a new unit.

I will always be grateful with Hopkins Air Conditioning. Our AC broke the evening of the 30th of December. Hopkins came the 1st of January for a diagnostic and the 2nd we had a new AC. The attention, the response, the staff was just incredible. Happy to have them as our new AclC company and maintenance.

Luis performed my AC maintenance. He was excellent ! I have 10 year old AC that needed repair… but I wanted a new AC, He was very thorough exposing my options.. I am having new AC installed tomorrow!!! Hopkins AC has always been good and reliable!!

(11/11/22) Our first service encounter with Hopkins was professional, efficient, and pleasant. Dave performed a complete maintenance on our 2 year old Rheem AC System. We received advance confirmation that Dave was enroute. He arrived as scheduled and after performing the requested maintenance, provided a summary of the work. He also noticed that our air scrubber bulb had failed and ordered a replacement.

My A/C unit stopped working. I called Hopkins Air Conditioning and they sent someone the same day. The problem was identified and maintenance service was performed. I will definitely use them again.

Hopkins Air Conditioning continuously exceeds our expectations; in particular, Technician Jonathan M. is truly an outstanding professional. On Oct. 3, 2022, our AC suddenly stopped functioning. As we did have the annual maintenance plan (*highly recommended*), I called right away, albeit in the evening. Of course, the phone call was answered, despite the hour. To our surprise, Jonathan M. came to our home at 11:00 pm to ensure that our family would have functioning AC before the following day heat. He performed exceptionally thorough cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs both inside and outside. He also explained what needed to be done and why, and showed us all of the problem areas. We trust Hopkins, bottom line. Beyond 5 stars! My AC was on the fritz and I called my AC company and was told there would be a $149 emergency fee for weekend appointment. The next available appointment was Tuesday. I was in the parking lot of my condo and ran into Dave and mentioned something about my AC. After his appointment in my building, he kindly came and took a look to see what was wrong. He was able to make the repair! I have now switched my service contract to Hopkins air and feel very confident. We've been with Hopkins for a couple of years now - they are our go-to and we recommend them frequently. We initially used them for an emergency repair and were very happy with the level of professionalism of the office staff, management and technicians. We have had Johnathan, a service tech, out on several occasions and he is very thorough with his cleaning and explanations. He gives his honest opinion without a sales pitch or pressure - which we appreciate. Friendly, affordable company that is always on time. We haven't had a bad experience yet.

I signed on to their biannual maintenance plan at the recommendation of a neighbor and it's run smoothly over the last couple of years. I had an actual breakdown in the system on a Thursday afternoon and called the company and they were able to send someone out the next day to diagnose the issue. I was able to have the repair scheduled and completed by the following Monday and get a detailed accounting of the cost with no upselling or attempts to add on unnecessary charges.

The set up and scheduling was so easy! I reached out to schedule maintenance for my unit and worked with Lauren to get everything set up. She was very helpful, responsive, and easy to work with! I had my unit serviced today by Daniel who was also fantastic! I had been having issues with a prior AC company and my unit as a whole and working with Daniel and Hopkins was such a breath of fresh air (pun intended). I cannot recommend Hopkins and Team enough. Jonathan M. of Hopkins is hands down the best air conditioning technician I’ve ever encountered. I have my a/c units serviced twice a year and he found and fixed things that no other technician has ever mentioned/noticed/bothered to check and it was all included as part of my general maintenance. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and professional.

John did an amazing job. He cleaned our unit and made our unit half as loud as it was prior. All he did was change settings. Very knowledgeable as well. A plus!

We've been using Hopkins air for about 2 years, we had to buy a new system cause our coil failed and it was the second time so it made sense to get a new system. (it was an established defect of our system at that time). That purchase and installation went great and we've been using them for maintenance since than just to keep it running good. Also we got super low interest financing. Adam came out today to do our service and found we had a pretty bad mold issue in there. His advice was to add a couple UV lights and a thorough cleaning of the coild and duct work so we got the lights installed and tomorrow we're having a deep cleaning in the Duct works and because i have a maintenance contract I saved 20%. He was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed our conversation as he worked. Actually every one who has come out has been great. Always professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. I never feel like I'm being sold, they just tell me what I need and I decide. Also they are always able to work with my schedule and we have had 1 emergency where they were able to get someone out the same day. So I really can't recommend them enough!

Hopkins Air Conditioning has been great to work with. They have been responsive and on time each time they have assisted us since installing our HVAC system. Xavier most recently performed our system maintenance and went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we understood and were satisfied with everything he did.

Not only was the technician on-time, Hopkins kept me informed as to his expected arrival time before his arrival. Once on-site, the technician had remote access to maintenance records to explain what previous work had been performed on the AC units and was able to diagnose the trouble very quickly. The old manifold of hoses was replaced with state of the art wireless diagnostics and data logging capabilities. Very impressive. And the technician was able to explain clearly the results...great experience! I rely on quality and responsible Companies to provide service year round although I am not in town all year…and Hopkins has certainly made my list of service providers!

Story time I call at 2pm on a Sunday By 2:15 their team was calling me back to confirm a time window (5-8) By 6pm Jonathan was at my house, in the attic and already checking on parts. Thankfully he had the part in his van, within 2 hours of verifying the blower was replaced and my 3 month old was back in his cooled room. Jonathan was fantastic, and the triage/ execution and scheduling was fantastic. Highly impressed, I even setup a maintenance package based on the execution of todays visit. Well done

Excellent service! Scheduling is a breeze, they are very accommdating. Miguel did our semiannual maintenence this time and he was very thorough and professional. He really took his time to clean and check everything to make sure it was all operating at optimal performance. Then John the AC tech was so informative and patient with us. They made such an impact that I purchase the service program with them. We recently completed work with Hopkins on a complete gut and reinstall of our AC system. They had initially come out for a timely service check and identified quite a few pressing issues we were unaware of that were wasting quite a bit in electricity each month. Miguel did a great job explaining the options and providing pricing options. We spoke with the owner Chad and felt very comfortable w/ the project we were starting. Over the next week we replaced every duct, vent, compressor, HVAC and did blown-in insulation- the team that was here, Frank, Junior, Jonathan, Bebito (and possibly more!) were all very professional making sure our house stayed clean and worked around us as we were home. We had an issue with our HVAC unit when we switched over from AC to Heat. I called Hopkins Air and Brittany was helpful in setting up a service call. A day and time were established and the technician was actually early. Xavier did an outstanding job diagnosing the issue, discovered another issue, discussed and showed what needed to be done, and actually had the parts on his truck. Xavier efficiently repaired the issue and went over the entire system to make sure everything was working properly. Excellent service and a fair price! I would call Hopkins Air Conditioning again...and ask for Xavier!

I was in search of a HVAC contactor and came across Hopkins. They called me the same day after filling out a few question. The next day I spoke to John regarding my house inspection report concerns, and he provide me with an estimate and services to take care of the issues. Amazingly quick and efficient! Estimated appointment time was between 1-4pm and he was on his way by 12:30. The half hour heads up is so convenient. Given it was an easy fix, he was in and out in less than an hour. Will definitely be using them again (if we have an issue arise) and for our regular maintenance!

I needed a dehumidifier, my house was just dripping. John came out the same day - and rather than sell me a very expensive product I didn't need, he found what the builder's low-bid provider did wrong and fixed it. I signed up for a maintenance contract before he left. I've never been this pleased with the quality or professionalism of a contractor since moving to Florida.

10/10 Will recommend. Realized A/c broke by midday, called and was told somebody would be out in the next 3 hours, and to my surprise somebody was over in an hour. Jonathan arrived and was professional from start to finish. He addressed all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Would love to work with him again should any issues arise in the future! Price wise seemed very reasonable, along with offering options of just the repair or repair and adding maintenance plan.

Great unit installed last year. See prior review below. I started as a customer of Hopkins Air more than twelve years ago. They installed and serviced my original unit over the years. Always most efficient. I had a new unit installed last week. The installation process was well orchestrated and the techs took great care to keep me posted on the time frame as the installation progressed and also maintained distancing. They were well organized, used drop cloths and took out all the old equipment without issue. The installation of the new unit was smooth and they had it up and running by the estimated time. Hopkins is fully electronic with respect to their paperwork so I have an easily accessible record of everything. A nice final touch was the thank you card sent via US Mail. Although Hopkins is state of the art when it comes to service, installation, communication and follow up, it still has that personal touch when it comes to customer service and communication. Recommend highly!

My husband and I just bought this home and decided to call around and have someone come out to check on our 2 systems. The technician was so efficient and knowledgeable. Total home run. I was having an issue with my Nest thermostat and called Hopkins on a Friday afternoon. Not only were they able to get someone out to me that day, they even got here early. The technician, Luis Garcia was a total pro. Not only did he know the ins and outs of the specific model of Nest from a picture on my phone, he immediately, and correctly surmised that the problem actually had nothing to do with the thermostat at all and was likely an issue with the air handler. We went to the attic and, sure enough, the drainage system was backed up and causing the system to temporarily shut itself until the auxiliary drain could work. Not only did Luis fix the problem, he documented everything in pictures for me to look at and verify and then, at no extra charge, he changed all of the filters on the return units at no charge. Like I said, total pro. Could not recommend Hopkins and Luis more highly. Will definitely be doing all of my future system maintenance with them. 5 stars easy.

Chad did a great job on our HVAC maintenance including explaining some optional work that he recommended we consider. He was on time and followed Covid19 guidelines which is obviously very important!! We will ask that he be the tech for our next scheduled maintenance service.

I spoke to the office and had a tech out to my home in less than one hour. It seems that although I am a DIY guy I need to let some things up to the pros in my home. Not only did Karel fix the issue that I broke, he took the time to evaluate my entire system and found where I was losing the efficiency of my unit. The work was completed professionally by Karel , there was no trace of work being completed when he was done, he explained every detail of his work that was performed, and all the while maintained a high level of professionalism and was very personable. The fee for the service was appropriately charged and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of what so ever. I’ve used Hopkins Air several times and will not even consider speaking with a competitor about an issue at all. This is an amazing family business that I could not give more accolades to. If you are reading this to decide as the whether or not you want to hire Hopkins Air please take my advice and look no further! These are professional hard working people that don’t take advantage of the client.

I have a maintenance plan with Hopkins and I have to say the Maintenance Man Joseph that came out today was the best most detailed oriented service man ever. He went above and beyond to make sure Our Lennox A/C unit is in tip top working order. He explained everything in detail used a sterilization device in the vent cleaned lines and more. Once again, Hopkins, as always has delivered above and beyond the norm for customer service in today's world. Even with a maintenance agreement, you never know what to expect, but as the Hopkins representative, Louis was exceptional in the performance of the twice annual maintenance call. Louis was extremely informational in what he was doing, as well as what may need to be done in the future. He took the time to explain errors in the initial drain pipe installation, and repaired that at no cost, as well as making some minor adjustments that allow the air filter to operate more effectively. At the end of the day, there is no better place to go than Hopkins! Thanks Chuck and Louis.

Eleven+ years ago I purchased my Lennox AC form Hopkins, they came every 6 moths for check ups and service. When it was time for a new one, I called Hopkins again. Phil did a great job explaining my replacement AC options, features and pricing. The new AC install was a breeze, Andre and Gabe did a fantastic job. They were knowledgeable about the system and explained how the thermostat app worked. They added new duct work to keep my office cooler, they covered the closet with plastic to prevent attic dust from getting on our clothes and floor and kept the house clean. Great family company - efficient and easy to work with!

Extremely quick response time and loved that I was able to book online & have a tech out in less than 3 hours (at 9pm at night mind you). Aaron, my technician, was very knowledgeable & helpful. Original quote was extremely high but was able to haggle it down to a still high but more manageable price (ended up paying about half of the original quote to get an idea of the crazy industry markup). Due to pricing & push for ongoing maintenance agreement from the office, it felt more like a 4 star experience but I felt Aaron went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the services by the end. Would recommend but make sure they keep there pricing in check.

I called Hopkins AC serviced my Mom's A/C. My Mom is 82 yrs old and she have been burnt by other service companies. She is very weary about calling service companies. I researched Hopkins A/C and saw over 290 positive reviews. Hopkins technician did a thorough job in servicing the A/C. The technician cleared the condensation line and added algaecide tablets. This is a real customer. Hope this review helps.

This company is GREAT! I purchased an older house thinking I would have to spend a lot of money ripping out the hvac system and starting new. The techs came out and were very professional advised me of the areas they recommended for repair and replacement which ended up saving me a lot of money over other companies that just wanted to gut the system.. I had a real problem balancing the AC temperature upstairs with the downstairs. I thought nothing could be done about it. I talked to Hopkins Air and they sent out a tech who practically re- engineered the ductwork to balance the temps between both floors even though I had only one thermostat downstairs in the townhome. They also added a remote thermostat upstairs that communicated with the thermostat downstairs. Sounds complicated but they made it look easy. Wonderfully reliable folks who were on time and did exactly as promised. I use them on home and rental unit and always a great experience. Thanks Hopkins Air!!👍👍

We found Hopkins Air Conditioning while doing online research for companies that could perform proper "air balancing" of residential homes. We had two previously failed attempts with other AC companies to fix our 10 degree swing of temperate from one side of our house to the other. Other companies simply tried to band aide the situation by turning up the fan speed of the unit which made it worse. Hopkins had all the proper equipment to measure our entire home's air flow to do proper "air balancing." Chad provided us with a proposal for the solution which he thoroughly went over line by line which included installing returns in each bedroom, resizing vents, resizing ducts and replacing old duct work. While the work involved was a lot more extensive than we originally thought we would need, the cost was actually surprisingly reasonable. Doug and Xavier were the technicians that did the initial diagnostic air flow measurements and also performed the work. They were polite, professional, and clean. They did not leave until they ensured everything was working as designed and to specifications of the agreed upon work. It's rare to find a company with such great customer service, professionalism, and politeness. They have customers for life and will be performing our bi-yearly AC maintenance moving forward.

John and Andre were able to diagnose the problems I was experiencing with my air conditioner. I previously used 2 other companies who overcharged and did not address or repair my unit. I called Hopkins after frustration with 2 other major AC companies that have been negligent and do no follow up inspection on their work that I pay for. They were professional enough to give me an independent review of some issues. They sent Phil and he was not in a rush and spent as much time as I asked for. I am hoping to change services. We have been a customer of Hopkins Air since 2007 at least. We have always paid for service and the company installed 2 a/c units for us over the years. Recently, a new person came for an annual visit. He took an unusual amount of time. All was working. When he left one unit stopped working. We called and were told he would come back the next day. He came, again spent 3 more hours. The unit stopped again. He then said we would have to pay $129.00 for him to come back at night. We said we would wait until morning. He came the 3rd time and again spent 3 more hours only to tell us the unit was finished and we would need to give him the full year's maintenance amount before he would leave. The check was written on Saturday and on Monday they said no portion can be returned even though we have decided to no longer use this company. I am disgusted with them and have lost all faith in them. When I look back on all those years, I now see flaws. Why did the last a/c have black mold growing on the air handler. Why did their technician install the uv light in the wrong place. An update is that the company will refund our maintenance fee. I therefore changed the rating. Thank you.

Hopkins is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Richard my tech was amazing at fixing my AC and was profiecent in his work. Exetremly professional. This company sets the bar high for customer service. See my day started out with me trying to install a brand new theromstat. When I put it in no cold air was blowing. So I tried putting the old theromstat on then my AC unit would not work at all or turn on. Now my son who is only ten month has severe asthma and has to use a neabilzer every night. So as the heat started to build and I realized I couldn’t fix this problem I started to become exetermly nervous. To hot of air and my son has a hard time breathing. At this time it was 10:30pm on a Sunday. I started to look up 24/7 HVAC companies. I called 20 place that advertised This on their website and every single place told me they couldn’t Get a tech out till the morning or a tech would call back and never did. I was furious as to why they advertised this but the service they didn’t actually offer. It was now 1am and it was 85 degrees in my house. I finally came across Hopkins and called. At first I received an answering machine and I thought here I go again so I left my information with a callback number. Within two minutes Richard called me back and explain all the fees and was up front and honest. He said he could come out right way and he actually did. Out of 20 places the only person who actually offered the services was Hopkins. Richard came out and was exetemely kind and professional. He fixed my AC and was honest about the problem. They had reasonable prices compared to most places and Richard went above and beyond to get the job done. I will always recommend this company going forward and use them for all my AC maintence needs. I can’t thank this company enough for helping me sleep well knowing my son is going to be okay.
