Hopkins Air has been great every single time they have had to come out. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Went with them for an AC replacement and cant recommend them enough for the whole process from the sales call to the install to the service and maintenance. From the getgo they worked to get our business. When our AC died unexpectedly they still offered a deal and showed up the next morning to put in the new one. Install folks were a breeze to work with and a couple months after the install we had an issue...they showed up 45 min later to take a look at it. It was cold during the install so they topped off the coolant. We had our first maintenance today and they notify you of who is coming and when they are going to be there. The tech went above and beyond checking everything and making sure we were happy. For AC the peace of mind is worth it. We talked to alot of people too but these folks consistently went above and beyond. That has continued after the sale.

I highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning.My ac unit broke on Tuesday night n they came right over. I needed a new ac unit and they came on Wednesday and installed a new one. On Wednesday the installation manager came over to inspect the installation. All of their techs were very professional, courteous,and knowledgeable. They went above n beyond. You guys are awesome. Had an issue with a leak in our AC unit for a home we recently purchased. I contacted them last night through google and got a call first thing at 7:30 this morning to let me know someone would be by between 10-12. Allan showed up promptly around 10:30 and signed us up for the yearly maintenance fixing our issue. He was quick, professional and very efficient. Would give 5 stars but they wouldn’t show me how the upsell ultraviolet was working or not. They said they installed them but I can’t see the ultraviolet light like the previous system they replaced. I asked and the salesperson was very offended I asked to see it working instead of taking his word. These days once you pay the invoice it seems like you’re dismissed for asking a simple question. But at least the ac is working. Update: Art came to my house for service call and installed a new ultraviolet set up. Art is a great asset to Hopkins and was excellent to work with.

The quality, efficiency, and care that went into completely replacing my AC was unbelievable. I signed for the replacement Saturday, and they were ready early Monday morning! The job required extra attention as they had to entirely disassemble the new air handler AND the old one in order to remove/install them from within the attic. I don’t know anything about installing AC units but I imagine my setup was a nightmare of a job. But Andres and his colleague handled it with grace and put on a masterclass in AC replacement. I genuinely can’t thank them enough. Seriously, if you need your AC repaired or replaced. Give Hopkins a call. Yeah … AC work always has an annoying price tag associated with it. But cheap AC isn’t good. And good AC isn’t cheap. With that said, they were flexible on some components and even threw in extra products and services for free. At the end of the day it's worth every penny. It’s quality equipment that was installed by highly skilled professionals. Overall a top notch experience - highly recommend!

Miguel was awesome he went way beyond in customer service. My a/c stopped running on Friday he came when I called asap. Advised of problem but told me parts dept were closed they have part in stock but he will not be able to get it until Monday. Wow to my surprise he was at my door 9am on Saturday morning. He fixed the problem. For years I have had a contract with ECM which is very expensive and never had anyone that treated me with such great customer service. I would rate them 10 plus.

Appreciated the recognition by the tech that the part that was broken was covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Armando, the tech who installed, was thorough and trustworthy.

The techs Armando and Gazi tried to help us but the compressor on the 18 month old Daikin unit was cooked. One of many problems we have had with two new Daikin units. Not the technician fault but the manufacturer is disappointing.

Gazi was AMAZING. Fully inspected our full system, including the outdoor unit on the roof of my townhouse. He fully serviced the entire unit, alerted me to possible problems with the system and implemented solutions that make me feel confident that the life of our system has been extended as much as possible. He also informed me of the replacement cost down the road so that I may budget accordingly for the future and manage my long term expectations. Best yet, he alerted me to the fact that my UV light was not functioning and, since it was still under warranty and although it was installed by another company, offered to provide a new unit and just charge for installation. This is how a company SHOULD treat new customers. Work with you and not look at us like a piggy bank. I could not be happier with the level of service or courtesy. I highly recommend them. 👍

I have a small condo that required full replacement of a 15 year old, 2-ton A/C system. Hopkins delivered a seamless experience. The installation team was clean, efficient, and knowledgeable. Just would like to say thank you to everyone at Hopkins Air, my AC Fan would not stop blowing no matter what I did, even turning off the breakers to it. I called this morning and Sabrina listened to the concern in my voice and had a tech Eduan there by 1 pm to check things out. Eduan is great has been to my place before and always does a fantastic job, he was able to diagnose quickly what was the issue. Turned out my Blower motor module was blown and had to be replaced, I have been with Hopkins for 10 years they installed this unit for me then and have maintained it since. They were able to find a tech nearby who had a replacement part close by in their truck. So instead of having to wait days for parts and to reschedule for instillation. Eduan went and got it and was back installing within a half hour. He was quick professional and the Unit is working great again. No more issues. Thanks Again to Hopkins Air for doing all the right things, such a great company to deal with.

Technician Eduan showed on time during the time frame specified. He both texted and called to make me aware that he was enroute. He was very professional and friendly. He explained all that he was doing, the required repairs, the recommended repairs and service as well as the pricing. Overall very happy with the service, so much so I signed up for the maintenance plan.

Ive been using Hopkins Air for the past 4 years and they been great. Whether its been fixing issue with the ac units or installing new duct-work for the whole house (what a big difference that made in all the rooms, well worth it) they always do a good job. Highly recommended!

Do not use this company! They gave us a quote for $3,577 to replace items that did not need to be replaced, and they suggested the entire unit might need to be replaced as well. We called another company for a second opinion, and they fixed the issue for $250.

Great job from David. Very informative. We replace a capacitor that was starting to lose amperage. Next we will replace my small voltage box outside mounted on the wall. Cleaned the drain pipe and checked the entire unit! Ready to go for another 6 months.

Have been using Hopkins for 3+ yrs. Needed repair on an AC unit. Miguel diagnosed the problem on the first visit. A part had to be ordered but he was able to temporarily adjust the unit so we could have air on demand. When the part came in, he was able to install it easily and get us back up and running in a normal fashion. Miguel was fantastic. He arrived promptly, was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He kept us informed every step of the process. We highly recommend Hopkins and look forward to working with Miguel again.

Cannot say enough about Hopkins Air Conditioning. This experience started months ago when we called because our AC was not cooling. Talked with David and Chuck who were Oncall. They explained there had been some storms in the area so it may be related to that. They had us reset our unit and call back in 30 minutes, Everything was cooling again. The impressive part … no charge saved them time and us money. Then we had our bi annual maintenance done and Gazi came out. Another professional clean experience. He noticed our unit’s air flow was low. After some investigation found the coil had issue. Ut oh here it comes. He asked if we had a warranty and/or labor warranty. I said I doubt it we don’t normally buy that stuff. Gazi not only was able to get the coils covered by the manufacturer warranty he investigated and found out in our passed records we actually did have a labor warranty. 2nd time Hopkins could have “made money” and did the right thing. Finally Armando arrived to replace the coils right on time, was efficient and clean. AC is cooling and running great. Hopkins Air Conditioning does not only do great honest work when needed they don’t take advantage of situations to make money. In either of the first two examples we could have been charged a service fee and to replace the coil and pay for the labor. All of this came at only the yearly maintenance charge. We have been using Hopkins for many years and always have had great service. Recently they did a great job installing a Lennox XC20 3 ton unit. The job was completed in one day. The crew was extremely professional. They protected our floors and carpets and were very neat. I strongly recommend Hopkins. Update I just had the semi annual service. Went great. Very professional and neat. Update 11-23-23 Just had emergency service today, yes on Thanksgiving. Problem fixed by Justin.Hopkins is great. Now my guests have A/C Update 4-25-24 Serviced all units. Great job as always. 5-8-24 Great as always. Serviced (3) units with KickStart. 6-11-24 Fixed faulty float switches. 6-27 Unit #3 low on Freon. Got it going for now. Found leaks and ordered new parts. Great job John. 7-8-24 Two coils replaced on Unit #3. Completed on time and cleaned up after. Works great. Great job. 7-25-24 Diagnosed Unit 4A problem which is a defective Blower Motor. Replacement is scheduled for tomorrow PM. 7-26-24 Blower Motor replaced. Unit works perfectly. Well done 10-22-24 Clogged Drain on no. 1 unit. John diagnosed it quickly. Works great. 12-10-24 Found mold on our MBR vents. Contacted Hopkins. They did a complete inspection of the ductwork and recommend replacing it. The job which was completed in just two days. The crew was efficient and caring. Another well done job by Hopkins A/C. 1-2-25. Replaced Thermostat. Well done 3-11-25 Finally replaced my AC (5 units). Went with Carrier as suggested by Hopkins. They did a fantastic job as always. I Highly recommended Hopkins AC. 7-31-25 Replaced defective iflo unit. 11-11-25 Replaced (5) iflo cartridges and flushed Drain Lines. Perfect!

$714 for labor to replace a part that was under warranty. Took the service guy 45 mins from start to finish. Don’t mind paying for service but seems a little extreme. Also still havn’t closed out the permit for a split air conditioner that was installed over 6 months ago. Btw we had to walk inspection with inspected as the service guy had to go to another call.

Eduan, our technician today, arrived promptly (having called that he was on his way), and immediately went to work on our system after we explained the problem we had. We had complete tile renovation done. We had been told the air conditioning system would be turned off completely, but it was not, it was registering 76 degrees, the system was"on/fan" and the door was open, and no furniture was covered. It was a complete dustbowl. Eduan was able to clean it up with a tuneup, although it was a complete mess. He assured us the system would be running well afterward. He was efficient, professional, and courteous and a definite asset to Hopkins Air Conditioning.

The maintenance technician, Edoun, certainly appeared technically very skilled, and he was patient, courteous and cognizant of the cost in making recommendations to prolong the life of the 7 year old air conditioner, which I took. The price for the maintenance and addition of a booster was reasonable. I would highly recommend Hopkins.

Hopkins Air Conditioning picked up all of the disappointing slack from our prior company, who kept increasing prices and quoting full replacements on minor repairs. One visit turned a 1400 dollar quote into a 280 dollar repair job- and my home is cooler than it’s been since our hvac was first installed three only years ago. We had an A/C issue: he thoroughly analyzed the potential causes, discussed with me the two emerging hypothesis, tested them and landed on a solution. He exudes expertise in a calm and collected way that, given the situation, I genuinely appreciated. I had the feeling that "he got us" and that he genuinely cared. So so so many times I have come across technicians that might do their job, but don't seem to care much about it (or you). Not Scott, he truly seemed to care. Contacted them when our AC was leaking tons of water. They gave an assessment as to a slew of issues that we had- that our current AC service never mentioned. The assessment for a new AC was thorough, gave tips to help cool the house with a new duct, and spent time to explain everything. All this was the same day I called to. They were able to get set up a new install that weekend. Even got a follow up text the next week to see how the unit was operating. Update: we have had our service plan with them for sometime, they’ve been great. Any issue and they are able to come same day or the next. They’re always transparent about issues and super professional

Miguel, HVAC Tech, was extremely thorough. He displayed an expertise that surpassed the two other technical opinions received from a different AC company. The other company was unable to diagnose my problem. Miguel went through the entire system and detected a refrigerant leak which was the source of the sweet smell that was emitted by my AC system. Just WOW. We talked to multiple providers before we replaced our 10 year old 3 compressor 3 airhandler system about six weeks ago. Everyone but Hopkins was just trying to sell us what they had. Hopkins listened to what we wanted and put together a system with the latest technology to get it done, including adding a damper system to make 3 zones out of 1 on our second floor. In the process they also replaced a damaged supply line that they had to thread through attic and wall trusses in our 40 year old house. When we had a sudden need for service on a Saturday afternoon, Hopkins got a technician to our house by 6:30 and got the balky unit running like a charm by 8:00. Great perfornance. Love these folks!

My experience with Hopkins air conditioning was absolutely amazing. My AC went out on me after 25 years for my compressor and 35 years for my air handler inside. I called Hopkins air conditioning on a Monday and they had a Gazi a technician come out that morning to check it and found out My AC unit was expired. Gazi then called The office and got a salesman out to my place within an hour and a half to go through with me my options for a new AC unit. Mike Sokolowski arrived as the salesman and led me through my options. He asked me detailed questions about my air conditioning usage and immediately determined what I AC you would best suit my needs.He immediately put in my order and two installers came out the following morning and completely installed the whole new air-conditioning system in my house. I really enjoyed the text messaging with the pictures of the technicians salesman and the installers before they actually arrived. Everyone was punctual and courteous.This has been an absolutely delightful experience. Considering I was without AC in the summer hot weather for just over a day.

Excellent service. AC checked out on me they came the next morning and fixed. I also signed up for their maintenance package. They are my go to AC compacy. Most importantly they are honest.

For. The second time Hopkins tried to over charge me by almost double! They installed my new system while it was palm beach air. When Hopkins took over I continued with a maintenance plan I will never use these crooks again. On top of it all they wanted me to pay half of the repair up front even though I was an existing customer. In addition they never called in the early spring for my second appointment for which I paid. Do yourself a favour and shop around

We have used multiple A/C companies in the past. There always seems to be something wrong that is much more expensive than you expected when they come out. This is our second time using Hopkins and both times now they have been quick, thorough, and, most importantly, HONEST! Today they could have told me all kinds of things were wrong with the unit, but it was a simple fix of the thermostat needing to be reset because it wasn’t sending a signal to the outside unit. We will definitely be a lifetime customer anytime we have an issue with our AC moving forward, and highly recommend Hopkins for anyone needing an AC repair.

Sophia came out late Friday evening on a rush call for ac compressor not running. She diagnosed the issue quickly, had the replacement part in place in less than 30 minutes. Also replaced our uv bulbs since she was out here already.

6.5.25 Update I typically request the same technician for my AC services so that they have personal knowledge of all prior issues. Gazi was today's service tech since previous tech is no longer available. Gazi is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was already aware of previous work done to my ac unit and provided feasible proactive solutions to improve air quality. I highly recommend Gazi and will be requesting him to be permanently assigned to my account. The entire Hopkins team has provided outstanding service and I am pleased to be their customer. 12.24.24 During last regular maintenance service it was determined that the outside unit coil was leaking. Service call to replace exterior coil was done on Dec 20. During that time the techs found a part had to be replaced on interior unit and that the indoor unit also had a leak. Being late in the date replacement for interior coil could not be replaced until after the weekend. Fast forward, 3 techs came first thing on Christmas Eve and unit completely fixed within a couple of hours. Thanks to Hopkins for doing all they could, including sending tech to pick up interior coil unit from Ft Myers, to get my AC up and running before Xmas day. Since initial service by Hopkins ACc a few years ago, I have not used any other company. I have a service contract and could not be any happier with the level of service and professionalism. John is the tech assigned to my account and I can't recommend him enough!! Service calls are always on time, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I am so happy to have found Hopkins AC and that John was the tech assigned! I don't hesitate to recommend.

After a lengthy conversation with the owner who reached out to me so we could discuss the quote I received from the technician yesterday he explained to me that it is possible that the tech could have gotten a false positive diagnosis on the compressor being shot when in actuality it was not which did make sense to me. I wish I didn’t react so fast to write a bad review before speaking to the owner of the company it was completely wrong on my part he did go above and beyond by returning the money for the service fee back to me for any inconvenience that his employee caused which he did not need to do with that being said I definitely would use him in the future now I see why he has so many outstanding reviews

Love at first sight! I had high expectations because of the first interaction and honestly because of the reviews. They totally exceeded our expectations. - impeccable, proactive and effective communication both from the office and with the technician - problem solving attitude. Excellent customer service! They sent Sophia out immediately to fix an issue with our air conditioning and thermostat and she was amazing! A simple change in the thermostat job turned out to be multiple other problems and she was here for three hours fixing everything! And she did not leave until our air conditioner was working perfectly! By the way, this was with our old air-conditioning system. Hopkins has not yet put in our new air conditioning system due to the fact that we are in the middle of construction and we will wait to put it in. Amazing customer service from the office to the technicians. I would absolutely recommend them!

We just had the pleasure and good fortune of getting Zach to help us with a manufacturer's issue with our new a/c unit. It was after hours, and we were told a technician would come by between 7pm and 10pm. Zach was here by 7pm, and to say he knows his stuff is an understatement. Just had my ac updated.Hopkins came checked out my old unit which was 25 years old. Needed a fan motor which they said cast $1000. Not worth fixing. Gave me some options, they offered financing for 18 months at 0% no down payments. Which worked for me. I Ask them when can they install it. They said next day. Which they did. They were her next day at 8am and done by 12pm. Did a professional job, and cleaned after themselves. . BUT! Did not informed me that I should get UV lights. Which know I have mildew and have to spend a additional $500 to install them. Lack of information. Should have been told up front..

First time home buyer, I was ready to struggle and suffer with AC maintenance after it shut down. I'm now at peace! There were here under an hour (alright, I was lucky on that part :), Scott and Gerry explained to me the values of Hopkins and how they like working there. I can even ask for the same team everytime. They got my contract.

I happy with the service provided by Hopkins. My AC was repaired within just a few hours after my initial call to Hopkins. However, the cost charged for the replacement contactor and capacitor were, based on what I can find, both beyond the maximums of what I should have paid for these parts. They did, however, provide a discount which did offset the overall cost of this repair, bringing the resulting total cost down to an expected maximum cost one should pay for such a repair.

We’ve been with Hopkins Air Conditioning since back in 2002 when we built our home in Palm Beach County. They’ve been nothing less than extraordinary since that time. Last night, 10/21/2019 is just another example of why they’re simply the best. We had an issue with some water on the floor of our garage after returning home Monday evening from a short weekend road trip. It appeared to be coming from our air conditioner air handler unit. I called Hopkins A/C “after hours” Service line and Xavier (service tech) returned my call within 5 minutes... AMAZING! He advised he could definitely take care of the issue and relieved our concerns as we were preparing to head out of town again tonight (10/22). Xavier offered a suggestion that would “almost assuredly” solve the issue. I followed Xavier’s phone instructions and within about 20 minutes the problem was fixed. Customer Service is a very important part of the A/C biz and Hopkins Air Conditioning has the best. I have lived in South Florida all my life (72 years) and I’ve dealt with more than a few A/C company's so I know a little bit about customer service. Xavier is certainly a credit to the company. We were able to cancel the service call that Xavier had set up for us as now there was no need to delay our departure to the Smoky Mountains. Thank you Hopkins A/C and THANK YOU Service Tech Xavier (especially for the instructions and technical explanation as to what had occurred). When a company representative offers to save a customer both money and time, that’s a Special Company. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hopkins Air Conditioning. Update... Today, 6/11/21, we had a newer “upgraded” “ALL ALUMINUM ALLOY” condenser coil installed in our a/c handler. The house cools much quicker than the a/c did with “older style” coil... But the main reason for this update is to THANK the install technician, Andray, for doing an amazing job. He is such a credit to Hopkins A/C. Efficient, very knowledgeable, and one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen. Did a few little extra things during the installation to allow our central air to run more efficiently, and allow me, as the homeowner, to keep the a/c running like new in between our bi-annual Hopkins A/C maintenance service. I would highly recommend HOPKINS A/C in West Palm Beach to anyone needing A/C service or NEW Central A/C. Best! …more It appears that the drain line from A/H condenser pan to outside drain has issues, in that there was a back-up in the line. Today, 12/26/2023, Technician Jasper from Hopkins A/C responded and after trying to clear the line, he was able to find the issue with the drain line and make it work like new. He said that the line appeared to have a lot of old build-up (the home is 20 years old). Jasper was not going to give up. He cleared all of the old debris and the draining condensation water is now as clear as a mountain stream. Great job Jasper & Hopkins A/C. Excellent Technician & problem solver. Update 11/29/2024 Darren came to our home yesterday for our scheduled bi-annual a/c service. Darren did the best maintenance/checks we’ve seen since our home was built with an entire ac system installed by Hopkins A/C (actually “DAVIS A/C” back then. same company/different name). Darren showed us everything he was checking as do all of the technicians at Hopkins A/C, but Darren did quite a bit more. He checked our vents for actual air flow and found that our Master bath vent had NO AIR FLOW. We told him that vent actually hadn’t been blowing much, if any air out since we first moved in to our newly built home back in May of 2002. We had brought that to the attention of the actual Contractor who built our home and he told us at that time, he would add it to the “Punch List” and would forward that to “Davis” and they would check the a/c system and, “everything would be fixed or adjusted properly and to our satisfaction”. *Still have the notes I took. Didn’t know who “Davis” was. NEVER FIXED. We’ve just put a fan at the doorway when necessary. Darren knew what the problem was & forwarded info to install dept.

Hopkins Air responded within 90 minutes of our service call on a Saturday. Had our unit up and running in 2 plus hours! Highly recommend them and our technician Miguel.

Technician that came told me the HVAC unit he came to repair was 12 years old, at end of life and needed $3-$4000 of repair work, and that I would be better off buying a new unit. Ultimately got it fixed elsewhere for a little over $1,000. In looking at the unit the Hopkins tech pulled out wires from both the unit and the thermostat and then left without reconnecting them. Very unprofessional. Addendum: I see that Hopkins has responded below. I have modified my review to reflect what was incorrect. In response to the rest, thankfully, we take photos too, and I am uploading two to show the way they left things:

The Fan wasn't spinning outside and it was hot. I called Hopkins, I've never used them before. Someone was scheduled to arrive in the afternoon, but they called me to let me know they an earlier slot. The technician checked the system, and discovered that the contact wasn't distributing power to the unit. He had one in the Van and replaced it. It was up and running in minutes. He was honest. I was also able to use my card to pay right there and then. So, they get 5 stars. -David

Have used them for years and normally very happy. They service my condo twice a year. Was disappointed that we had a condensate line leak. They should have serviced our unit earlier but scheduled us 8 months apart. I felt that the cost of the repair was very high. The service is always prompt and they do a good job

The service technician was very professional. Uniform is clean, conducted himself in a very courteous and professional manner. The service representatives was able to come out within a couple of hours to resolve the problem. They gave us an estimate between 6 and 8 PM. I am always pleased with the professionalism of the staff and of my A/C technician John Anytime I have ever had a issue with my A/C which isn’t very often they have always quickly fixed the problem in a timely manner.They also do a thorough maintenance every six months, which I have a maintenance contract for. I can’t imagine using any other company for my A/C needs. I would not trust anyone other than Hopkins Air Conditioning with my a/c unit. They are honest, professional and dependable.

This was my first time having an AC issue in my house and I needed to get it fixed quickly. I called Hopkins Air Conditioning in the morning and they sent Scott Goodbread to take a look the same day. Scott is great! He quickly assessed the issue and clearly explained what needed to be done. He took care of everything quickly and was very friendly. He had expert knowledge, which made me feel great about the service I received. I got the yearly maintenance plan so that the unit doesn't have any more issues. Thanks, Scott! Edit: It's a year later, and I have had some additional issues with my AC unit. Thankfully, Hopkins has remained responsive and helpful. There was some miscommunication about the work to be done, but Hopkins cleared it up and gave me a discount which really displayed their integrity and honesty in their business dealings, and I commend them for that! The individuals at Hopkins were very nice. They had an opening come up a day before my scheduled appointment. The office called and switched me over to an earlier day. The engineer called to let me know when he would be arriving, very pleasant, told me exactly what he was going to do and provided me a price before he started work. My AC stopped working all of a sudden on a Friday evening. Googled local service providers and Hopkins had phenomenal reviews, so I gave them a call. A skilled technician (Dave) was able to make it to the house in just a few hours and had the problem solved in less than 30 minutes. Communication throughout the whole process was great and left nothing to be desired. AC is an absolute requirement in South FL, so it was nice to see a local company exceeding expectations. I concur with all the other positive reviews, and highly recommend Hopkins. Dave was great as well. Updated 8/2024 Needed another unexpected service call due to an aging system. Miguel came out late into the evening, and was very polite, proficient, and skilled. After several tests, Miguel figured out the issue, fixed it, and presented the best course of action going forward. I was happy with Miguel's service and with Hopkins in general. I'll continue to patronize them and recommend them to anyone needing AC help. -- Gerry and Scott came out today to replace a compressor that wasn't working. They were prompt and very amiable. Great communication throughout the process and finished the job quickly. They confirmed everything was working well and showed me. Cleaned everything up and left my house cooling nicely. Hopkins has been amazing since I've started with them.

So my AC issues were complicated involving a condenser in which initially the coil was replaced, shortly followed by a switch that failed, and then a compressor that failed. The process involved numerous trips, along with warranty coverage requests to the manufacturer. Hopkins worked through it all with the only expense to ourselves being the freon. Ramon and Thomaz had the most impact on us throughout the process and should be commended for their excellent customer service. The office staff were also courteous and responsive. All around, a great company to work on your AC.

Ramon was the tech that came out for my service and showed up earlier than was expected. My issue ended up being a pretty simple one and he showed me how I could fix it. He also explained to me a better way of maintaining and keeping the line clean. This is the second time that Hopkins air has been to my house and not tried to upsell me on some thing that I really didn’t need. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Signed up with them for a yearly service. Part of the deal is they give you a free service at the beginning. About a month after my AC wasn’t working properly. They came for free since I have a service contract and billed me 330 dollars to unclog my system. I told them you were here a month ago and the system is 1 years old. Terrible experience.

The Hopkins service tech was polite, honest and knowledgeable, but Hopkins is very overpriced and I do not like their policy of paying in full in advance. I am a Senior Citizen and we just paid $463 for a AC drip line flush and basic system inspection from Hopkins, that is after bargaining them down from $520 ! The service tech said he was just following company policy. The service tech was at our house for about 30-45 minutes and used no parts that I know of to complete the job, other than cleaning fluid. A different AC company with a similarly polite and knowledgeable tech charged us $129 for a similar flush and AC system inspection on another property we own. We felt taken advantage of by Hopkins we are not happy, and we will not be using Hopkins again.

When we were suddenly faced with a broken A/C system after business hours on a holiday weekend in 90+° SoFlo, Hopkins Air Conditioning came to our immediate rescue! They were extremely kind, courteous and professional, and they went above and beyond to get our problem solved quickly and efficiently. Hopkins A/C technician was professional, had a great appearance, and had the latest diagnostic tools to show me how my unit was performing. I was looking for an A/C maintenance contractor, and I found one!!

Predatory or just Negligent? These people are apparently only interested in selling you new A/C systems and duct and insulation, which they also sell. My 4Ton Trane system was working great (as usual) but then suddenly, out of the blue just shut off. I called Hopkins because I am on their maintenance plan, to have a look and see what was going on. Before adequately trouble shooting my Trane, they advised me to take it out, and replace my whole 4 Ton Trane system telling me it was unfixable and you can't get parts...Prior to recommending this, I am afraid they neglected to adequately trouble shoot my system in the first place, as was their job, under my maintenance plan... in their role as my service technicians. ... not even in THE MOST BASIC INDUSTRY-STANDARD trouble-shooting was done... ( it turns out the filter line was clogged and dirty, which triggers a tow switch, and which shuts the unit off so it won't leak water onto the floor... "the first thing you look for when the unit shuts off"., according to their own technician)... as I had called them to check my equipment and why it would shut off, I of course also assumed that their assessment of my Trane system as "dead" was based upon their having tried everything they could as a maintenance technician, to get the system up and running and assess the problem as to why it might have shut off,... and certainly before delivering a recommendation of "all you can do is replace it", when it might have only been a matter of toggling a switch, as part of a maintenance call, and myself spending nothing. ...They replaced my Trane with a brand new $9,000 unit that is not performing adequately for my house. In the mean time, Hopkins' maintenance and service arm was negligent, or maybe worse, to have recommend that my unit be replaced before they even tried to trouble shoot my unit in their role as my Maintenance and Service provider... which is who I called. Hopkins is claiming now that perhaps the new unit is not performing like the Trane unit (supposedly they are rated to perform just the same), due to my having "faulty duct work and insulation" in a crawl space in my ceiling that I have never seen. This faulty logic obviously does not explain anything about how the 2 A/C units might compare with one-another, but Hopkins expects me to be dumb enough to buy it, ... and conveniently, voila ! they happen to sell insulation! ... and voila! they install duct work too ! Meanwhile I am $9,000 poorer, with an inadequate A/C system that unfortunately, I believe, I had NO REAL NEED to buy. Disgraceful

I needed someone to come and check my AC on a weekend and I was able to get someone within 2 hours which it was awesome. I’m very happy with their service and definitely I will recommend it to friends.

Here’s another great experience I have had with Hopkins Air. Gazi, the service advisor, gave me exceptional service on my AC maintenance. Gazi performed all the inspections of my AC inside and out. He took photos of what work he did and provided detailed information about each task and recommendations. This company has excellent reviews because they actually do the work other companies don’t. They don’t just come and do a visual inspection and test the compressor. Hopkins does a detailed inspection on all aspects of your AC unit and show you photos of all the inspections, complete cleaning of drains, coils and compressor, test for ductwork leaks and many more things that most companies charge you for but don’t do quality work. I have used many companies over the years and Hopkins has been the best.

LIFESAVER. Our AC went out in the middle of a very hot Florida day, we have a little one so finding something quickly was extra important. David arrived a few hours after our call and promptly got our AC back up and running! We had called a few other AC companies before we were recommended this one and had been scheduled days out, so we were relieved to be fit in so promptly to their schedule. Glad to have a Go-to quality AC company!

I had a relatively urgent problem with my HVAC system at a PGA condo with irate renters. Hopkins came very quickly, solved the problem and actually also helped to placate the understandably upset renters---they did a very professional, courteous repair. I had a concern about the bill and they again responded immediately and together we worked out a mutually satisfactory solution. I am impressed with the timeliness and quality of their work and also, importantly, with their open interaction with their customers to explain and resolve any conflicts. Our AC broke down on a Sunday. We called first thing Monday morning and a technician was there by the afternoon. It was determined Tuesday that we would need to by a new unit and on Wednesday it was installed! The technician were nice, practical and knowledgable. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Not recommended for maintenance or repairs! We signed up for our regular bi-yearly maintenance. Ramon was prompt and informed us about future upcoming maintenance for our unit. However, a day later, our unit began internally leaking (in the house) and emitting crackling noises, despite working fine before the technician's visit. When we contacted their local 561 number, we were informed about notes regarding future maintenance and the leakage issue. During the maintenance visit, the technician failed to disclose the “leakage” to us. We were made aware of the “leakage” during the follow up call. This discrepancy raises concerns about the integrity of their service, hinting at a potential agenda to push for a new HVAC unit immediately. Due to the lack of transparency & professionalism, we DO NOT recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning.

I called this morning and they promptly sent a technician. We had our AC go out because our our drip pan was full. Xavier came out to us about an hour after our call to Hopkins AC. the drain was cleaned and the technician told us how to care for the drip pan issue. Very professional and will use them again. 9/18/2023 Today was just a regular service call. I found Tino to be a technician that Hopkins should feel very satisfied with because i was. I even allowed him to sell me another mold prevention box that is to be much better than the mold light that was sold to me by a previous company. Although i was really sold by Hopkins because the first technician told me i would not have to deal with anyone else but him, and I now am on my 3rd technician in 2 years, I believe the technicians sent to me have been head and shoulders above the air conditioning companies that do the most advertising on TV, I really did not like those guys and I have now found a company that I can rely on. Thank you Hopkins A/C. P.S. The Hopkins technician assured me that the most expensive box that was installed to eliminate mold will do the job - eliminate mold, even in the ductwork. He put Hopkins on the line if it didn't work. 3/7/2024 Today just a regular service call but the same great service. I found Miguel to be a technician that Hopkins should be proud to have on staff. This was a specialized job that required specialized equipment. They gave us excellent professional advice on their recommendations for our specific situation. They went the extra mile to ensure a clean & effective work area & we could not be more pleased with the results. After our experience, I would wholeheartedly trust this company’s knowledge, expertise, advice, & workmanship. We will be using them for all of our A/C needs going forward.

Terrible experience. We called them over a weekend and they fixed the problem in August. The technician sold us the maintenance plan for the year to help get a discount on the service required that day. We were never contacted to set up maintenance on our 4 ACs, which we paid for up front, close to a $1000, for maintenance/service 2x a year on all our units. As a contrast, we have a maintenance/service plan for other appliances and the companies call us promptly to set up maintenance and service. Months go by and no service has been set up. Over Thanksgiving, our drains/pipes end up getting clogged and result in a backflow and leak which ruins the floor upstairs and leaked through to the ceiling of the garage. When I called them to come service the unit, the representative that showed up that day said this should have been taken care of in August when we signed up for the maintenance plan. I called them, spoke with a manager and then his manager/part owner of the company. Lie after lie was told. Tried to tell me it was a different AC unit. Luckily for me I took a video while the technician was at the home with the technician present because the manager tried to lie about it over the phone. I was told they do not do maintenance in the summer because they only do it 6 months after signing the contract, which would have been February for us. Well, 6 months after February is August which is summer, which would have been our 2nd maintenance. They denied a slip up or fall through on their end. We ended up with $1000s of damage due to this leak which likely could have been prevented if they had actually shown up and performed the service, flushed the drains, and checked the leak devices. They refunded the maintenance agreement money as they should have because not only did they not keep their end of the agreement but they took our money, did not provide the service, which resulted in thousands of dollars of damage for us. Terrible experience. In response to your response- didn’t know there was a time limit to write a review. You took pictures of the AC with the switch up on the AC unit that was NOT leaking. The one that leaked, the switch was in the appropriate position. I have videos as evidence as well. Exactly why I said the lies- the pictures you took are of the AC unit next to the one that was leaking. You failed to meet your end of the contract.

Called them to give an estimate on repairing my father's air handler, was quoted 8000 with discount 7400 to replace blower motor and evaporator coil. Only problem was a leak at the coil, called another company and was fixed up and running for $450.

2nd Review: Our old and out-of-warranty AC unit finally had an issue after we've pushed it beyond its ideal thermostat setting. Luckily, I was able to save some money on repair cost with the annual maintenance agreement. Our preferred technican, Ramon, performed quick troubleshooting and gave us a few honest options to save more money. Despite the rain, he was able to successfully perform the repair in a timely manner. We continue to appreciate the all-star team including customer service and dispatch at Hopkins AC. Highly recommend! 1st Review: For our initial maintenance service, Ramon set a great impression by being approachable in answering any questions and eager in sharing his findings. He was knowledgeable in proposed solutions and did a great job cleaning our HVAC and condenser unit.

I have used Hopkins many, many times I take care of many homes and I use them at all of my homes. David Gunning has been very very helpful and he always explains what is going on before he starts. His work is very thorough I would recommend all these men to everybody thank God for companies like Hopkins Air! Top notch in everything they do! Installers Ryan Fowler installer is another favorite. Called Rich on a Sunday and he arranged for David to be here on Monday. Unfortunately the unit needs to be replaced. They worked out the details and should only be without air for a couple of days. They also offered to bring in a portable unit if I wanted.

EDIT: Rich, the GM, gave me a call and we took care of the issue. Was refunded the amount for the service that was not completed and apologized for what happened. Refund was prompt and they are working on resolving any issues, which is a good look. Overall, Hopkins has taken care of this and we can move on. I would still suggest the company as a whole adjusts their pricing or revamps some services to have JUST a "drain flush" to avoid the issues of the high price. This would allow a 5* Initial: I called to get someone out to my house for a drain purge on my system. Tech arrived and informed that the bill will be $420 unless I buy their annual package, which would drop it 20% ($90, service pack $250). Wanted it done as I was at work and could not handle it myself. Tech called back 45 minutes later saying they couldn't fix it and need to charge me an additional $150. I told him no and I would take care of it myself. Left work, stopped at home depot for a $25 dollar snake, proceeded to clean and had it cleared in LITERALLY 20 minutes. On top of this highly over charged fee, my AC now makes a gurgling sound after this tech supposedly cleaned the system and did their checklist. Called to get some resolution to this and for the last 2 weeks have been told someone will call me.........nobody has yet to call me even after I have called three times now.

We had a problem with our AC unit and called Hopkins Air Conditioning for diagnostics. We were very pleased with the expertise and services provided by John J. He was polite, professional and efficient. John showed knowledge and work ethics. He was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning and will be using them again in the future.

Finally a company that truly STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK!!! I have had multiple AC Companies come out and put bandaids on my A/C issues. These other companies did not address the issues I was facing. I have a two story house that wasn’t cooling evenly between floors and sweating vents. Hopkins A/C was highly recommend from one of my co workers. I contacted them and they were quick to respond. JOHN came out, assessed the situation, and came up with his solution as to what would fix the problem. His solution was to Install a new more energy efficient system, add another return vent, and seal off my attic. The best part was I had a brand new AC Installed the very next morning. Immediately after the installation I noticed the improvement of the power usage but I still faced the unbalanced cooling issue between the 1st and second floor and sweating ducts. I sent John a text message with my concerns and he scheduled a visit the very next day. John came out and developed another plan to help with the uneven cooling between floors. Bottom line up front… I truly believe in this company, they stand behind their work and John has been awesome.

We bought a home and the air handler was definitely questionable. The week we were set to move in, the house wasn’t cooling at all! Called Hopkins and they sent someone out SAME DAY! They came out, identified the issue, and helped come to a resolution. We needed a new air handler and they came by first thing next morning to install the new one! Amazing service, very nice and professional servicemen, and all very quick! Which…you want in Florida lol

The service man was friendly and professional but this company is extremely overpriced. They charged $600 to drain an exterior a/c drain pipe. After checking with other A/C companies, this is a service that should cost at most $250. They used a shop vac and it took about twenty minutes to complete. I will never use them again.

I needed an air conditioner company found Hopkins and was pleasantly surprised. Jasper was very thorough and knowledgeable about our whole system. They keep you well informed about where you are on the list by text and email. We took out a service contract with them and will be a loyal customer.

Jasper was AMAZING. He came at 8pm on Saturday night, and was not only courteous (brought a mat to wipe his feet on, wore shoe slips) he was friendly as heck (my dogs loved him) and he took the time to show me exactly what was wrong with my air conditioner and how he was planning to fix it. He did a great job alleviating the problem and then signed me up for their membership plan. Air conditioning troubles in the dead of summer in South Florida can be the most frustrating thing in the world, but Jasper literally saved our night. I’m very grateful!

I recently had my AC repaired by this company, and while they were professional in their approach, I couldn't help but feel their pricing was way above the market rate. Like many others, they charge a set fee for the initial visit, which would be credited to any subsequent repair costs. This would be acceptable if the repair costs were reasonable. However, without a prior estimate or a clear breakdown, I was blindsided by a bill that seemed almost double what I expected. I had a quote to flush the ac drain for $250. But because it was weekend and the company didn’t have anyone until Monday, I called Hopkins. They charged me $454! The lack of transparency in their pricing structure left me feeling that the system is geared against the customer. I believe potential clients should be wary and always ask for a quote upfront.

So glad our neighbor referred us to Hopkins AC when our ac compressor died . They were professional, courteous, competitively priced, and overall did a great job. We were so impressed with their customer service we are now on year two of maintenance contracts with them. They continue to provide great service- I’d be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for an AC company!

***Updated Review: We’ve used this company since they used to be called First Response A/C. They installed our current a/c unit 3 years ago and we’ve used them for maintenance every 6 months. We’ve had some issues with our new unit and although Hopkins was quick to address these issues, it started to feel like we got a bad lemon unit. Recently, AC compressor went out and their pricing to replace (with warranty coverage on the part) was completely outrageous and it became apparent to us that we had become a cash cow for this company ($200 maintenance package yearly + $$ for service calls). We decided to get a second opinion and the other company was shocked that we’ve had a maintenance agreement since it appears Hopkins failed to notice a refrigerant leak (which contributed to the compressor failing). All in all I feel ripped off and mislead by this company. Please find another provider that is honorable, does their due diligence at each service, and charges fair prices. ————— OLD Review —————— They are always quick to respond to calls. They perform quality work and the techs are always courteous and professional. I’m glad we found them!

My technician Ramon was very professional and informative. This is the first time we're using this company and it has been a pleasure. He took time out to explain the issue and solutions to resolve them. He got the unit running again and the house on cool. He is official my new "Certified Cool Guy". Reply to management/ownership(again): Spare your “working man” speech, I am a “working man”. We had air after your tech left because he disconnected the functional float valves until an actual experienced trustworthy licensed technician came out and re-connected the valves and properly diagnosed and fixed the unit. The same valves are there, nothing was replaced, apparently the main valve had a slight stick and it was tripping as if their was water leaking, which it wasn’t. So when your tech said the main floater needed to be replaced AND the back up floater as well, it was completely incorrect and he disconnected the safety mechanism to make it work. But that’s not my ONE QUESTION TO YOU, which is why are you charging 30X the cost for a simple $28 part?? Why are you charging $600? Why are you price gauging people on simple parts? I could see 2X or even 3X the cost for a simple part for after hours service but 30X?!!! 30X the cost…it’s the type of service and business you run that gives other hard working business owners poor reputations and make customers skeptical of your work. Get your prices in line, have some integrity. UPDATE: To the "owner" that replied, your "assessment" was in fact incorrect, the float valves are functional and both intact, that's a fact, come out and verify for yourself, but when you do, post that you were incorrect. You've got to do only the work required, don't encourage your techs to over charge people. Also, I never called my tech while yours was there, I looked up the price of the part that didn't need to be replaced. I also positively commented on the response time, which is great but not at the cost of a misdiagnosis and a complete gauging on the mark up. How do you justify charging nearly $600.00 for a $25 part? If anything else, answer that question for your potential customers that want a fair price and service. Why is your mark up 23X the cost of the actual part? Forget about the misdiagnosis your tech provided, answer why your mark up is 23X the actual cost of the part? You did the wrong thing here, maybe overall you guys don't do that but you lost here, admit it, fix it and don't price gauge customers, be better than the rest, not a hog. It’s a shame because I originally gave this company a good review but after having another experienced tech look at the AC unit the next day it was revealing. Hopkins AC answered the call and dispatched their tech promptly after I called at 6pm, he arrived by 7:30. He originally diagnosed that my float valves were non functional and he had a replacement on the truck. I looked up the part it cost about $25, unfortunately he had to charge $566.00 for the part due to the company mark up apparently. I didn’t want to pay that because I know an AC tech who was available the following day. The rep from Hopkins said he could disconnect the float valve and it would run fine as long as it didn’t leak for some reason. I took the chance and let him do that, paid the $129 service fee and had AC that night. The 30 plus yr tech I know came out the following day and tested everything in front of me and explained and proved, there was in fact nothing wrong with the float valve and reconnected it, and the unit functioned perfectly. It’s either someone not familiar or experienced enough from Hopkins or they intentionally tried to get me to pay $566.00 for a $25 part. Either way it should be addressed by the company immediately.

I was very impressed with the customer service - the representative that took my call was very courteous and professional. I was calling to set an appointment for the upcoming business week and to my surprise the company was able to come out today, on a Saturday, with such short notice. Allen, the service repair - arrived as schedule. Allen was very detailed and answered all my questions and concerns. To be honest, I thought my unit was beyond repair and that I need a brand new unit. He was able to get it up and running. For now I am keeping my fingers crossed to see how long it will run before I will need a new unit. Hoping it will keep running to give me time to save up for a new one when the time comes. I signed up for the maintenance plan and received a good discount rate along with the service charge. I definitely will be using this company in the future.

After hiring another company that sent a tech I could not communicate with I called Hopkins air conditioning. Im very glad I did. I highly recommend them. Allan showed up and was so professional and helpful. He wore hygentic booties into my home and explained everything to me in full detail. He was very attentive, kind and polite. I appreciate the time he took and making sure to fully inspect the areas that needed reviewed. I will definitely call again for any future service I need and request the same tech. Miguel was very knowledge and thorough .however I was taken back when he presented me with a bill for $1248.00 . The capacitor needing replacement is covered under my warranty. and so is the motor as well. So I'm paying for labor to install the motor. He gave me a price of $808.00 to replace the motor which will take about one half an hour. an hour at best. I should have asked what your hourly rate is. He is a very good technician . but I felt taken advantage of on the pricing

We had another company come out three times in a week, the installed our AC a year and a half ago to find out why the system was not working. It was one excuse after another. We called Hopkins at 7pm this evening, they came out by 8:15 and showed us the issue. Did a short term fix to provide us cool air until we can do the proper correction. They have a client for life!!!!

Miguel just left our home after servicing and repairing our A/C system an d I'd like to say that he is very professional and understands A/C systems. He repaired our unit and left me feeling like he knows what he is doing, which is difficult to find these days in many home repair industries.

On July 4, my AC stopped cooling my condo. Hopkins came out within 90 minutes and found and fixed the problem quickly. Crisis averted! They’re always professional and responsive.

The guy who came was nice however, I was charged $441.00 to replace my capacitor. Turns out, the cost of a capacitor is only $40.00. When I asked the tech about the difference he said that is the 2 year warranty. Needless to say I won't be using them again nor will the friend who referred me to them.

Tried to charge me $4,500 to replace all major components under the guise the system was absolutely toast. *Did not offer any other alternative* Had another reputable contractor recommended to me by my home inspector. They fixed the AC unit for $450 and gave advice on how to keep the unit running/maintenance. Only putting this here because I know most people don't realize that they are overpaying for services.

They were very responsive and arrived on time. Sadly this is not the norm for many contractors, so I give them props here. They showed zero interest in fixing a 20 year old unit (I expected that). So no deductions, it needs to go. However, they verbally quoted me 9K for a 4 ton unit (did no provide any additional details or documents). I was told it was expensive because they pay their employees $30/hr. Two people can install in AC in under 8 hours easily. So that's a silly answer, do the math. You can buy a 4 ton 16 seer Goodman online for 4k (5k through Amazon) after taxes. An additional 4-5k for parts and labor seems excessive. The next quote I received came in at $6800 without any negotiation.

Truly amazing service! Came out on a Saturday morning on time. Assessed the issue immediately. John was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain the details. He couldn’t access all areas of the system and is returning Monday to follow up and not charging for an additional service call. Their maintenance plan is worth it!

Chuck was very helpful in getting my AC working. The part was under warranty and he gave me an excellent price on the labor. I would highly recommend them.

Scott was, as always, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He diagnosed both issues quickly and then made required adjustments along with replacement of malfunctioning transformer. Also, he called first and showed up early. Can’t say enough about the excellent service and people at Hopkins!

I never heard of Hopkins Air. but Cathy Mcdade and Jake have taken excellent care of me since they were with Palm Beach AC. Cathy in the Boca office is extremely professional, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. She explained all aspects of my contract in detail with me. Cathy went above and beyond to provide great customer service. Jake is the best AC tech I have ever had. He can pinpoint the cause of problems at a glance and will fix them immediately. He explains causes and solutions in easy to understand terms. Hopkins is very lucky to have Cathy and Jake representing their company. It is because of Cathy and Jake that I have decided to keep Hopkins as my AC company. Brittany is AMAZING and Ramon is TERRIFIC The reason that I will renew my maintenance contract with Hopkins is mainly because of Brittany She is always patient and understanding and willing to find solutions.. She really cares about my AC needs and my finances. She never tries to upsell me and is willing to go above and beyond to help me.

There is no feeling of (cool) relief like having one’s A/C blowing out hot air on a SE Florida 88-degree day and having a technician show up within hours and fixing it right! Hopkins was recommended by the management of a residential development that I once knew and it is for good reason. Scott, the technician, was not only knowledgeable, efficient, and professional, he was genuinely personable. Sabrina, the intake coordinator on the phone found a way through use of an annual contract that saved me quite a bit of money on keeping my 16-year old HVAC units as well. Very happy with my entire transaction with the people of this company.

I was referred to Hopkins after losing air conditioning last summer and hearing from my old company that it would be several days before they could come and fix it. I called Hopkins and they came over right away, fixed the issue, and signed me up for a service contract. Hopkins is very professional, on time, extremely organized, and not expensive. They setup an appointment time, send a reminder/confirmation the week prior, and call when they are close by so you know they are arriving. The technician that has come to my home knew my system like the back of his hand and spent time educating us on what’s going on with it and what he’s doing to make it better. This sets Hopkins apart. I have more confidence in a technician that explains what/why they are doing the job instead of just coming and going. Hopkins was also very reasonable and their price is less than I would expect for the service I’m provided. Doesn’t get any better then that.

The only issue I had was both the office and the technician called me in Montreal as opposed to my Housewatcher in Florida as instructed. Fortunately, I was home to receive the calls. Service call apparently went well. I’ve lowered my review. Two weeks after their service call, I had a leak. Was told when the technician scoped the system that records previously showed a problem. Why wasn’t it attended to? I have changed companies and purchased a new unit.

I will always be grateful with Hopkins Air Conditioning. Our AC broke the evening of the 30th of December. Hopkins came the 1st of January for a diagnostic and the 2nd we had a new AC. The attention, the response, the staff was just incredible. Happy to have them as our new AclC company and maintenance.

Had an issue where the temperature dropped in the 40s and my heat wasn't working. I called them the day after Christmas and originally was scheduled to have someone come out between 5-9PM. I received a call back shortly after where a technician was able to come out sooner. Alan gave me a call prior to arrival and was able to diagnose the problem within an hour. There were no hidden fees and they were very transparent with the billing. Nobody likes unexpected repairs, but this business was very courteous and professional.

It never fails, on a weekend your AC unit stops cooling... We discovered our unit was on the fritz on a Saturday afternoon. 3 previous visits in 5 months from a home warranty contractor. Never got it right...well only for a month or so then no A/C again. Got a recommendation about Hopkins. John showed up the next day after I called. He did trouble shooting- found some significant issues - not catastrophic but would cause constant issues. Now, with Hopkins on the job, I truly feel that HVAC is under control and the issues resolved. I was there personally and saw everything that was done! This was NOT a wall job. Funny, not funny. Seriously....I recommend this Company. Great job and done quickly not 3, 4, or 5 days wait for service.

Jonathan was excellent. He came out on. Sunday evening and told us what was broken with our unit. We ultimately decided it to use Hopkins but they came when the said they would and were very reliable and professional.

Miguel was great! He was on time and offered to come early! He was very thorough with his testing. After he explained his readings, he looked up our previous history to assist with diagnosis. Hopkins Air Conditioning continuously exceeds our expectations; in particular, Technician Jonathan M. is truly an outstanding professional. On Oct. 3, 2022, our AC suddenly stopped functioning. As we did have the annual maintenance plan (*highly recommended*), I called right away, albeit in the evening. Of course, the phone call was answered, despite the hour. To our surprise, Jonathan M. came to our home at 11:00 pm to ensure that our family would have functioning AC before the following day heat. He performed exceptionally thorough cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs both inside and outside. He also explained what needed to be done and why, and showed us all of the problem areas. We trust Hopkins, bottom line. I rarely write reviews; however, this company clearly is committed to excellence and relationships with their clients, which is very challenging to find in S. Florida. Beyond 5 stars! My AC was on the fritz and I called my AC company and was told there would be a $149 emergency fee for weekend appointment. The next available appointment was Tuesday. I was in the parking lot of my condo and ran into Dave and mentioned something about my AC. After his appointment in my building, he kindly came and took a look to see what was wrong. He was able to make the repair! I have now switched my service contract to Hopkins air and feel very confident. Dave was professional and knowledgeable…he explained everything that might have been the issue and finally what was the issue. Thank you very much!

It was another problem with the air conditioner which will cost a lot of money. The tech Ramon came out and inspect the unit and told us the problem and told us how much is going to. He came in really good time. We couldn't do anything today but I'm glad he was honest with us.

I called several highly rated A/C companies when my air conditioner went out in 5:30. Some were nice, some not so nice, but all said they could not come out until the next day, including the company who installed and maintains mine. I called Hopkins and Eileen spoke to me as if she genuinely cared about my situation. She could not have been more lovely. I also talked to Elisa, also wonderful, and both kept me updated about the timing of the service. Forget Jake from State Farm when you have Jake from Hopkins! He was fantastic, fixed my a/c and overall service was excellent. Jake was at my house a couple of hours after my first call. A HUGE THANK YOU to this great company with exceptional staff!!!

We've been with Hopkins for a couple of years now - they are our go-to and we recommend them frequently. We initially used them for an emergency repair and were very happy with the level of professionalism of the office staff, management and technicians. We have had Johnathan, a service tech, out on several occasions and he is very thorough with his cleaning and explanations. He gives his honest opinion without a sales pitch or pressure - which we appreciate. Friendly, affordable company that is always on time. We haven't had a bad experience yet.

I signed on to their biannual maintenance plan at the recommendation of a neighbor and it's run smoothly over the last couple of years. I had an actual breakdown in the system on a Thursday afternoon and called the company and they were able to send someone out the next day to diagnose the issue. I was able to have the repair scheduled and completed by the following Monday and get a detailed accounting of the cost with no upselling or attempts to add on unnecessary charges.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. Hopkins air conditioning offered not only the best service, they were honest, punctual, professional, and most importantly kind. Our system unexpectedly broke down during the hot summer. Hopkins was quick to respond. John came out and patiently explained all her options and helped us pick the best system for us in our home. STAY AWAY! They quoted me 3-4000 just to replace the coils on the outside condenser and 7000 to replace the outside condesor all together. I only have a 700 sf APARTMENT. Absolutely tried to rip me off. Im very glad I got a second opinion from someone who is actually HONEST!

John Johnston came out today to address issues we had with not getting enough cold air in my daughter's bedroom. John was able to correct the problem and her bedroom is now very cold. Jonathan M. of Hopkins is hands down the best air conditioning technician I’ve ever encountered. I have my a/c units serviced twice a year and he found and fixed things that no other technician has ever mentioned/noticed/bothered to check and it was all included as part of my general maintenance. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and professional.

Hopkins was amazing to work with. We filled out an appointment request on their website the night before and by 7:30am the next morning we had a call from them scheduling the service. Adam was our technician and he was awesome. He was quick, easy to work with, friendly, and made the process easy to understand for people that know very little about central AC systems. Will look forward to working with them in the future for our AC needs.

Technician Adam called ahead to let us know when he would be arriving, which was much appreciated. After a quick check of the system pressures with his bluetooth transmitters (pretty cool tools vs the old style guages), he quickly assessed the issue as being low freon, added what was needed, and wrapped up. Quick, courteous, and capable.

Not only was the technician on-time, Hopkins kept me informed as to his expected arrival time before his arrival. Once on-site, the technician had remote access to maintenance records to explain what previous work had been performed on the AC units and was able to diagnose the trouble very quickly. The old manifold of hoses was replaced with state of the art wireless diagnostics and data logging capabilities. Very impressive. And the technician was able to explain clearly the results...great experience! I rely on quality and responsible Companies to provide service year round although I am not in town all year…and Hopkins has certainly made my list of service providers!

Story time I call at 2pm on a Sunday By 2:15 their team was calling me back to confirm a time window (5-8) By 6pm Jonathan was at my house, in the attic and already checking on parts. Thankfully he had the part in his van, within 2 hours of verifying the blower was replaced and my 3 month old was back in his cooled room. Jonathan was fantastic, and the triage/ execution and scheduling was fantastic. Highly impressed, I even setup a maintenance package based on the execution of todays visit. Well done

I truly lucked out when I found this company. After having issues with my AC unit I started my dreadful search in looking for someone that was efficient and trustworthy to help me in the process with fixing my air conditioning. After reading the reviews I took a chance on Hodgkins Air conditioning and was so glad I did. We recently completed work with Hopkins on a complete gut and reinstall of our AC system. They had initially come out for a timely service check and identified quite a few pressing issues we were unaware of that were wasting quite a bit in electricity each month. Miguel did a great job explaining the options and providing pricing options. We spoke with the owner Chad and felt very comfortable w/ the project we were starting. Over the next week we replaced every duct, vent, compressor, HVAC and did blown-in insulation- the team that was here, Frank, Junior, Jonathan, Bebito (and possibly more!) were all very professional making sure our house stayed clean and worked around us as we were home. We had an issue with our HVAC unit when we switched over from AC to Heat. I called Hopkins Air and Brittany was helpful in setting up a service call. A day and time were established and the technician was actually early. Xavier did an outstanding job diagnosing the issue, discovered another issue, discussed and showed what needed to be done, and actually had the parts on his truck. Xavier efficiently repaired the issue and went over the entire system to make sure everything was working properly. Excellent service and a fair price! I would call Hopkins Air Conditioning again...and ask for Xavier!

Amazingly quick and efficient! Estimated appointment time was between 1-4pm and he was on his way by 12:30. The half hour heads up is so convenient. Given it was an easy fix, he was in and out in less than an hour. Will definitely be using them again (if we have an issue arise) and for our regular maintenance!

I needed a dehumidifier, my house was just dripping. John came out the same day - and rather than sell me a very expensive product I didn't need, he found what the builder's low-bid provider did wrong and fixed it. I signed up for a maintenance contract before he left. I've never been this pleased with the quality or professionalism of a contractor since moving to Florida.

I called this company and had someone (John) out within two hours. They were professional, informative, honest and extremely pleasant to deal with. Even the actual owner of the company came out right away with a part that was needed for the repair. From the girl who answered the phone (sorry, I forget your name), to the owner and particularly to John, this is definitely a 10/10 company. And this is my first review ever.

10/10 Will recommend. Realized A/c broke by midday, called and was told somebody would be out in the next 3 hours, and to my surprise somebody was over in an hour. Jonathan arrived and was professional from start to finish. He addressed all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Would love to work with him again should any issues arise in the future! The technician tried to rip off my grandmother and charge her $525 to unclog a drain line on a brand new less than a year old Lennox AC unit then they brought it down to 300 after I left a one-star review. Then I was told by Chuck if I removed my bad review they would honor a free service with no charge to unclog the drain but would never come to her property again. I feel the need to be honest about my experience so others know what they're dealing with choosing Hopkins air conditioning

When I say READ THE REVIEWS, I mean it. I taught my mother to do so and when her AC was blowing 88 degrees and we were melting in her house, right to Google we went. She searched through various options for the area and saw the reviews for Hopkins Air and loved everything she saw. The reviews did NOT lie. This company is wonderful from top to bottom; and I don't just hand out compliments and beautifully written reviews for just anyone (haha) John showed up the next day to my mother's house and began checking everything. My mother cannot move on her own right now as she fractured her leg. John had the unfortunate displeasure of having to let us know that the person who was formerly working on her AC unit was putting in the WRONG refrigerant. Not only was John able to find us an affordable new unit, but a great payment plan, and immediate installation the next morning. When I tell you, the 2 guys that came to install the unit, worked their butts off to get the house to cool off. By 5pm the house was down to 73 and we could breathe. This company is knowledgeable, genuine, and works WITH their customers to make sure WE walk away feeling secure and staying cool in this heat. Trust the reviews. They don't lie!!

I have used Hopkins Air several times, never once during normal business hours. They have always arrived within 45 minutes (once they were there in 5!) and are extremely communicative and helpful. Ebony who answers phones is so sweet. Our A/C tech who came out recently had a little trouble and the fix didn't go according to plan. They were out immediately 2 days later, made it right, and at no charge to me. An A/C company that responds quickly and stands behind their work! Will happily use them again.

My AC stopped working overnight on an extremely hot holiday weekend night of Memorial Day weekend. I called the answering service at 8:35 AM and set up an appointment for the same day between a 1-4 PM window. I asked that a technician call me ahead of time to give me an estimate. He did. When I explained the situation and the fact that I use oxygen to breathe due to the extreme outside temperature, he offered to come within 1-2 hours. In fact he showed up at 9:45 AM. Chuck was the service repairman and was quick, courteous, neat, and thorough. He explained what the issue was and what he would do to resolve the problem. Everything was quick and easy from my initial call to the time that Chuck left. I would highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning without any reservations and am confident that you will not be disappointed, if you choose to use them. I am a physician with terminal cancer who has very high standards. Not only did Hopkins Air Conditioning and Chuck meet my expextations, they far exceeded them.

Hopkins installed new ductwork in our attic to replace the old leaking system. Everything runs efficiently now and electric bills are lower. We also hired them to install a garage ductless system which is excellent. Highly recommend them for their professional work and customer service. Thank you!

We hired Hopkins to install a new HVAC system in an older first floor condo. It was not a simple job. Gabe the young man who did the installation was very efficient and showed great integrity. After the first day we were not real happy about some of the look of the wires. The next morning Gabe came in and said he could not sleep because he was not happy with the looks and proceeded to make everything look fantastic. He communicated with us on every step and we felt he really had our best interest at heart. Great employee. The only thing we were not thrilled with was the helper who was supposed to do the sheet rock work after removing the old air conditioner. He had no idea what he was doing. They need to hire the finish work to pros like Gabe.

Total home run. I was having an issue with my Nest thermostat and called Hopkins on a Friday afternoon. Not only were they able to get someone out to me that day, they even got here early. The technician, Luis Garcia was a total pro. Not only did he know the ins and outs of the specific model of Nest from a picture on my phone, he immediately, and correctly surmised that the problem actually had nothing to do with the thermostat at all and was likely an issue with the air handler. We went to the attic and, sure enough, the drainage system was backed up and causing the system to temporarily shut itself until the auxiliary drain could work. Not only did Luis fix the problem, he documented everything in pictures for me to look at and verify and then, at no extra charge, he changed all of the filters on the return units at no charge. Like I said, total pro. Could not recommend Hopkins and Luis more highly. Will definitely be doing all of my future system maintenance with them. 5 stars easy.

I spoke to the office and had a tech out to my home in less than one hour. It seems that although I am a DIY guy I need to let some things up to the pros in my home. Not only did Karel fix the issue that I broke, he took the time to evaluate my entire system and found where I was losing the efficiency of my unit. The work was completed professionally by Karel , there was no trace of work being completed when he was done, he explained every detail of his work that was performed, and all the while maintained a high level of professionalism and was very personable. The fee for the service was appropriately charged and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of what so ever. I’ve used Hopkins Air several times and will not even consider speaking with a competitor about an issue at all. This is an amazing family business that I could not give more accolades to. If you are reading this to decide as the whether or not you want to hire Hopkins Air please take my advice and look no further! These are professional hard working people that don’t take advantage of the client.

Chad at Hopkins Air had originally designed and installed my AC /heat system. It was worked beautifully from the first day----now 8 years later!! Recently, the tropical storm threw it for a loop---but Luis the knowledgeable and kind service man was over before the end of day and had me up and running. I have worked with several AC companies in the past, but Hopkins takes great pride and care with the level of their workmanship and service to their clients. I highly recommend this company!!

Once again, Hopkins, as always has delivered above and beyond the norm for customer service in today's world. Even with a maintenance agreement, you never know what to expect, but as the Hopkins representative, Louis was exceptional in the performance of the twice annual maintenance call. Louis was extremely informational in what he was doing, as well as what may need to be done in the future. He took the time to explain errors in the initial drain pipe installation, and repaired that at no cost, as well as making some minor adjustments that allow the air filter to operate more effectively. Our new guy, Xavier, did an excellent job of keeping us informed and explaining the details of future work. He showed us photos of sites for future discussion. He only added to the reason why we use Hopkins for our AC/Heating needs.

I had another technician come out to look at my ac unit and after not being impressed by them I called Hopkins for a 2nd opinion when my 15year old AC wasn't blowing cold. Luis came out the same day I called and went through my whole system inside and out, diagnosed the problem and had the parts available on his truck to do the repair immediately. He was professional, courteous, and cleaned up after himself. He didn't try to sell me a new unit where many others did. My unit now works perfectly thanks to Luis and probably saved me 3 grand on a new unit. Couldn't be more grateful to him and Hopkins. Highly Recommended

Eleven+ years ago I purchased my Lennox AC form Hopkins, they came every 6 moths for check ups and service. When it was time for a new one, I called Hopkins again. Phil did a great job explaining my replacement AC options, features and pricing. The new AC install was a breeze, Andre and Gabe did a fantastic job. They were knowledgeable about the system and explained how the thermostat app worked. They added new duct work to keep my office cooler, they covered the closet with plastic to prevent attic dust from getting on our clothes and floor and kept the house clean. Great family company - efficient and easy to work with!

I had another company come out and eval my noisy unit. They said everything was fine . . . 12 hours later it was leaking all over my floor. I called Hopkins and they were out to look the next day, extremely communicative as this is a rental property and I was not at the home when they were working on it, and fixed the problem on the spot! I cant say enough good things about this company.

I called Hopkins AC Service because my AC wasn't cooling, even though it was supposedly fixed by another service company who failed me miserably. John, a technician from Hopkins came the same day I called, and diagnosed the problem, at all time explaining everything to me and my husband. I needed an emergency visit as my ac went out after business hours. Hopkins was able to schedule a visit for that night and, upon arrival, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. I would highly recommend them as the entire team, from scheduling to repair, was very professional and reliable.

This company is GREAT! I purchased an older house thinking I would have to spend a lot of money ripping out the hvac system and starting new. The techs came out and were very professional advised me of the areas they recommended for repair and replacement which ended up saving me a lot of money over other companies that just wanted to gut the system.. We got some alert code on our system on a Friday around 2pm and called Hopkins for service. By 3:30pm the technician (Luis) was here and quickly diagnosed a faulty sensor. WIthin one hour he was in and out and everything was back to working. Great job!

I can't say enough good things about Hopkins A/C. I called first thing this morning when I woke up to it being 82 degrees in my condo and they got someone out to me the same day. I had a real problem balancing the AC temperature upstairs with the downstairs. I thought nothing could be done about it. I talked to Hopkins Air and they sent out a tech who practically re- engineered the ductwork to balance the temps between both floors even though I had only one thermostat downstairs in the townhome. They also added a remote thermostat upstairs that communicated with the thermostat downstairs. Sounds complicated but they made it look easy. Wonderfully reliable folks who were on time and did exactly as promised. I use them on home and rental unit and always a great experience. Thanks Hopkins Air!!👍👍

While it’s never pleasant to have an A/C problem in Florida, I must highly compliment Hopkins AC for their responsiveness and expertise in repairing the system. My air conditioning suddenly stopped working at 3pm Sunday afternoon. Great experience with Hopkins! I was a new customer they provided a very rapid response, answered all questions, and really address all customer needs. My home needed new AC ductwork and during the work they will provide standing units to keep the house cool during the time the house AC must be turned off for the repair. They also provided installment payment information including a no interest option! Hopkins gets an A+++ rating form me.

We found Hopkins Air Conditioning while doing online research for companies that could perform proper "air balancing" of residential homes. We had two previously failed attempts with other AC companies to fix our 10 degree swing of temperate from one side of our house to the other. Other companies simply tried to band aide the situation by turning up the fan speed of the unit which made it worse. Hopkins had all the proper equipment to measure our entire home's air flow to do proper "air balancing." Chad provided us with a proposal for the solution which he thoroughly went over line by line which included installing returns in each bedroom, resizing vents, resizing ducts and replacing old duct work. While the work involved was a lot more extensive than we originally thought we would need, the cost was actually surprisingly reasonable. Doug and Xavier were the technicians that did the initial diagnostic air flow measurements and also performed the work. They were polite, professional, and clean. They did not leave until they ensured everything was working as designed and to specifications of the agreed upon work. It's rare to find a company with such great customer service, professionalism, and politeness. They have customers for life and will be performing our bi-yearly AC maintenance moving forward.

Aaron my technician was Awesome.!!!! I will never use any other A/C company mainly because of Aaron. To show up on the 4th of July and to be so professional, and so patient was just refreshing. He showed up on time, actually arrived a little early, but text me to let me know where he was in route and when he would arrive. Aaron is truly an expert in his field, in every sense of the word. He made suggestions and great recommendations on what our next steps should be. I sent a message through the website since it was after they were closed for the day. I received a call back within minutes and a tech arrived an hour after that! The entire repair experience was like this. Excellent communication. Incredible responsiveness. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I knew very quickly that Hopkins was the right choice!

John and Andre were able to diagnose the problems I was experiencing with my air conditioner. I previously used 2 other companies who overcharged and did not address or repair my unit. The only question I had was the price I paid for the flat rate repair, felt it was a bit high, but I understand the flat rate would apply even if they got stuck and it went hours for the repair. over all very satisfied and will use again. I called Hopkins after frustration with 2 other major AC companies that have been negligent and do no follow up inspection on their work that I pay for. They were professional enough to give me an independent review of some issues. They sent Phil and he was not in a rush and spent as much time as I asked for. I am hoping to change services. Hopkins A/C is awesome! Our two A/C broke down. Chad came out and got the ball rolling ASAP for us to have our new units. The guys worked hard to get the job done in a couple days for both units. When we sold our house the inspector who came out on behave of the new owners had a lot to say about the units in the attic. He said everything was very clean, no short cuts and they even took extra time for detail work. We were so impressed. The entire crew is awesome and I would highly recommend Hopkins Air Conditioning!

Called to get an estimate on a bad compressor under warranty. They stated they needed to come out and check it. No problem. They were out at the house in great time. After paying $130 the technician gave me an estimate of $1900 for labor to replace it! I told them that the part was under warranty and surely they included the part in the estimate. Nope. So $2400 including the compressor to replace it??? I could literally get a new unit for that price! I priced it out with a competitor and he fixed it for $500. Totally wasted $130. Complete joke.

They were able to quickly respond to a request to assess a home A/C unit.The technician was very professional and humble. The problem was examined, a repair quote was given along with a military discount,.They immediately made the repairs.I would highly recommend this company!

Hopkins is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Richard my tech was amazing at fixing my AC and was profiecent in his work. Exetremly professional. This company sets the bar high for customer service. See my day started out with me trying to install a brand new theromstat. When I put it in no cold air was blowing. So I tried putting the old theromstat on then my AC unit would not work at all or turn on. Now my son who is only ten month has severe asthma and has to use a neabilzer every night. So as the heat started to build and I realized I couldn’t fix this problem I started to become exetermly nervous. To hot of air and my son has a hard time breathing. At this time it was 10:30pm on a Sunday. I started to look up 24/7 HVAC companies. I called 20 place that advertised This on their website and every single place told me they couldn’t Get a tech out till the morning or a tech would call back and never did. I was furious as to why they advertised this but the service they didn’t actually offer. It was now 1am and it was 85 degrees in my house. I finally came across Hopkins and called. At first I received an answering machine and I thought here I go again so I left my information with a callback number. Within two minutes Richard called me back and explain all the fees and was up front and honest. He said he could come out right way and he actually did. Out of 20 places the only person who actually offered the services was Hopkins. Richard came out and was exetemely kind and professional. He fixed my AC and was honest about the problem. They had reasonable prices compared to most places and Richard went above and beyond to get the job done. I will always recommend this company going forward and use them for all my AC maintence needs. I can’t thank this company enough for helping me sleep well knowing my son is going to be okay.

Phil came to my house and showed us why we are not getting the best cooling from our A/C. He drew new plans for our duct work; the men came and worked in the attic and now we don't even hear when the A/C turns on but lots of cool are is flowing into our house.
